My Fave Reads in February

March 22, 2017 monthly faves 19

I realize that March is almost over, and my “Favorite Reads March” post will be due soon, but since I’m woefully behind I’m just now getting to February’s fave reads. So… humor me, won’t you? 😉

What about you? If you can remember February (lol), what were some of your fave reads?

Two of my favorite reads in February were Jocelyn Green’s The Mark of the King & James Markert’s The Angels’ Share. Very different works of historical fiction but both were so good!

  2. Pam K.

I just finished reading Paws for Love a couple of days ago. It was so fun! Some of my favorite books from my February reading:
The Wedding Shop by Rachel Hauck
Can’t Stop Falling by Kara Isaac
Since You’ve Been Gone by Christa Allen
Dust Bowl Girls by Lydia Reeder (an nonfiction book about the Oklahoma Presbyterian
College women’s basketball team in the early 1930’s)
Crowned and Dangerous by Rhys Bowen (not CF but #10 in the fun cozy mystery Royal
    Spyness series)
    Finding Ruth by Roxanne Henke

My favs for February include Concealed Identity by Jessica Patch, The Promise of Rayne by Nicole Deese, Sit, Stay, Love Dana Mentink, and The Captive Heart by Michelle Griep. The one thing that all these books have in common is they were all recommended by Carrie!

I’ve heard great things about The Orphan’s Tale. I think I may suggest it to my book club.

You have ten top reads for February … most people won’t read that many books all month. All year, perhaps (like my husband).

The best books I read in February were:

Long Way Gone by Charles Martin
    Raging Storm by Vanetta Chapman
Murder on the Moor by Julianna Deering
The Elusive Miss Ellison by Carolyn Miller

Buried Memories was great, but I read that in December 🙂

My February favorites included Moving Target by Lynette Eason, A Note Yet Unsung by Tamera Alexander, Still Life by Dani Pettrey, An Uncommon Protector by Shelley Gray, The Viscount’s Proposal by Melanie Dickerson, and Love’s Faithful Promise by Susan Anne Mason. I just finished Delayed Justice this week so it will make my March Favorites!
