Top Ten Tuesday: My Fave Top Ten Tuesday Posts

September 12, 2017 Top Ten Tuesday 17

Happy Tuesday! Today’s Top Ten Tuesday topic suggestion is a Throwback Freebie. Soooooo (drum roll please) I’ve decided to take a look back at my favorite posts I’ve created for the Top Ten Tuesday linkup!

These first two kinda go together even though they were several months apart. They also represent two of my most commented on, most shared, and most frequently revisited TTT posts.

When have I not wanted to talk about my fave book boyfriends?
I also talk about them here and here.
Ok… here too.

Ok… kinda here too.
Don’t judge.

A little tongue-in-cheek survival advice from yours truly 🙂

Some of the books that have shaped me.
Without having read them, I wouldn’t be the same person I am today.

These are the books I grew up with and the books that grew with me – from childhood to now.

I asked some of my author friends to talk about books they read because someone else told them to…

Kinda like with book boyfriends, I am always up for a discussion on my fave covers.
In fact, I talk about them here and here too!

A fun post where I turned over the reins to my hubby for a Tuesday 🙂

This is probably the TTT post I had the most fun (and most frustration) putting together lol!

And as a BONUS…

I can’t leave off the infamous KissingBooks 101 posts!!

Lesson 1
Lesson 2

What about you? Do you have a fave Top Ten Tuesday post that I’ve done? Or maybe one that you’ve done?

I’ve already done a quick look at several of these, and some of them I have read before (having gladly discovered your blog since attending CFRR this past Aug). The book boyfriend stuff always makes me smile (oh, for the love of good fictional men – because they help us recognize that same goodness in the real men in our lives), and I appreciated getting to know more about you through the 10 observations shared by your husband. I will be revisiting for a more thoughtful read the Things I Wish Christian Authors and Readers did more often, because there is some good stuff there. Stuff that challenged me, in a good way, and I want to allow the Spirit opportunity to stir me in the right direction with some of those suggestions you offered for readers.

thank you so much, Michelle!! And this – “oh, for the love of good fictional men – because they help us recognize that same goodness in the real men in our lives” – love this! yes!

I loved all these posts, Carrie! You have a talent for creating fun posts, and I adore your sense of humor! Thanks for keeping me amused every day! 😀 In checking back on a couple of these lists, I realized I haven’t yet met some of your favorite book boyfriends from 2016. I must rectify that soon!

Great post, Carrie! Your ideas directed at readers was great. I am trying to write shorter reviews. NetGalley has some great guidelines. Christian Fiction is my favorite but I do enjoy some mainstream authors, reading over any bothersome language or content. I try to always be positive in my reviews or at least not negative. It bothers me when I see people being very critical in their reviews. I am trying new authors and genre, thanks to you, others and Goodreads. I just love to read! And you are right when you say that Christian fiction is so much better these days. Thanks to all Christian authors and to you for your positive posts and blog as well as other bloggers!

Note: your ideas directed at readers were great, not was. I changed what I was saying and missed the error.
