Some Goodreads Giveaways and Weekly Update for October 21

October 21, 2017 Christian, giveaway, weekly update 20

Happy Saturday! I had such a spirit-refreshing time last weekend in my old stomping grounds with two of my dearest friends on the planet. We even had breakfast one morning with our 2nd grade teacher … who is as bad as math as I am (maybe a connection? lol) because she can’t figure out how we can all be turning 40 when she’s still just 39 😉 I also got to stop in and see Beth from Faithfully Bookish whose children very faithfully (almost) protected me from their FREE RANGE CHICKENS. Just…no. Haha!

Unfortunately, the day I got home we received word that my mother-in-law (diagnosed with cancer 2 weeks ago) was not doing well at all and my husband left immediately for Kansas to be with her and his family. Prayers for them are so treasured … as well as your grace if I don’t get posts up on time or notify winners or get stuff in the mail over the next several weeks. ♥

At any rate … here are the Goodreads giveaways ending this week that I thought might be of interest to y’all. Best of luck to each of you! 🙂 As always, clicking on the covers will take you to the giveaways and neither myself nor my blog are in any way affiliated with Goodreads or these giveaways. All giveaways are US only unless otherwise indicated.

I’m so sorry about your mother in law. I was diagnosed with cancer about the same time, but fortunately very early and they got it all with just surgery. I know it’s a scary time, and you all will be in my prayers.

  2. Caryl Kane

MEEZ CARRIE, I’m so sorry for what your family is going through! I’m covering you with prayer!

    Blessings and ((((HUGS))))

  3. Winnie Thomas

I’m keeping you and your family in my prayers and thoughts, dear BFFF. Love you lots!

  4. Carolyn Astfalk

Prayers for your mother-in-law, Carrie! I know it’s doubly difficult when they are in another city. My husband and I have been through it several times.

  5. Melissa

I had Francine Rivers before and that book was like around 700 pages. Whew!! The book was beautifully written and I enjoyed it, but I am hoping the one you have pictured above is not as long. Lol
