Next Sunday is CHRISTMAS EVE!!! I think I love Christmas Eve even more than Christmas Day, but it’s a close race. ‘Tis also the season when I start craving cozy Christmas reads. There’s something about the magic of my favorite holiday that can make even the creepiest suspense novel feel warm and cozy haha!

In doing my own research on what Christmas reads are available, I couldn’t help but pass along my finds to you, my dear readers ♥ Continuing through the end of the year, I’m going to spotlight several new Christmasy releases as well as books from recent Christmas past. So… snuggle in, grab your fave hot beverage and comfiest blanket, turn on some Christmas tunes and start your bookish Christmas list! Oh… and did I mention there are GIVEAWAYS with EACH POST in this series??!!

Special thanks to Amanda Dykes for the gorgeous graphic and to each author who has graciously offered a giveaway for their spotlight post!

about the book

The Sheriff’s Second Chance

Sheriff Justice Gareau can make outlaws quake in their boots…yet coming face-to-face with Evangeline Benoit once again takes away all his composure. She broke their engagement, and his heart, to marry a wealthy older man. Despite his reluctance, Justice can’t avoid the widowed single mother of two when they’re collaborating on a Christmas village for the town’s children.

The loving boy Evangeline once knew has become an unyielding lawman. Forced to flee New Orleans over false allegations, Evie doubts Justice will take her side when the past follows her to Colorado. Especially when he and her troublesome son butt heads. But perhaps the spirit of Christmas will soften his heart and give them a second chance at love.

I don’t believe that I ever had a Christmas reunion. Thank you for the giveaway opportunity and Merry Christmas.

Since we live out of state, every Christmas and Thanksgiving seems like a mini-reunion when we travel back home!

  3. Carol Luciano

Really like the excerpt. Thank you for the opportunity. Since some of my family live out of state then I’d say we have a reunion every Holiday since we don’t see each other again till next Thanksgiving & Christmas dinner.

I have had a Christmas reunion although it wasn’t right on Christmas. My brother came home to celebrate Christmas once but it was 3 days early. It was the first time in over 14 years that we had been together as a family for the holidays so I think that counts. 🙂

  5. Evangeline

It was not an “official” reunion, but for many years my immediate family members returned to our family home to celebrate Christmas together. I love the cover on this book and the synopsis, especially since one of the characters carries my name!!! 😍 I have yet to read anything by this author and would love to win a copy of her book. Thanks for the giveaway and Merry Christmas. 🎄🎁🎄

When my family lived in NJ we would have Christmas reunions of most of Mom’s siblings. Since moving to NC in 1962 the only people that get together are my immediate family. We do have some extended family visit but not because it’s a reunion.
I have never read this author but I’m interested in reading the book after having read the synopsis. Thank you for the chance to win this giveaway. Merry Christmas!

Every Christmas is a Family Reunion for us 🙂 My hubby is from the family of ten…all but are married with children…so, you can only imagine our Christmas gatherings LOL

  8. Jocelyn

One year we had a reunion with a group of people we served on a committee for many years. It’s amazing how quickly the years get away from us.

  9. Debbie Clatterbuck

Never had a Christmas family reunion before, but would like to have one. Thanks for the opportunity to win this wonderful sounding book and good luck everyone!

Yes we did one year. I cooked for 50 people with them bring deserts. We had a great time visiting and watching the children opening presents. It was one of my great memories. Thank you for the chance.
