This week’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is “All About Villains” and to be honest I struggled with a topic idea for this one. I don’t have a plethora of favorite villains. In fact, I can’t think of any off the top of my head… unless they end up NOT being… Read more »
It’s day three of my most anticipated summer releases week, and today I’m focusing on mystery/suspense novels coming out this summer. (Monday was Contemporary, and Tuesday was Historical fiction.) To close out the month of March here on Top Ten Tuesday, we’re talking about our most recent 5-star reads. This was actually another difficult topic for me to cut off at 10 books because I’ve read so many fantastic books lately! But if I didn’t cut it off at 10, I’d still be talking about them next Tuesday… and probably the Tuesday after that.
Lynette Eason’s latest suspense offering is fast-paced, action-packed, and full of grace. Her writing talent is more than evident in the natural dialogue, the tension, the vivid characters. While romance is definitely present in the story, it never overshadows the suspense, making this an ideal choice both for people who do love kissingbooks and those who don’t.
This week’s edition of “Top Ten Tuesday” (hosted as always by The Broke and the Bookish) is brought to you by those books I meant to read in 2015 but …umm… didn’t.
I’m looking at you, 2016.
The Year of the TBR pile.
All week here on the blog, I’m talking about the books coming out in the first half of 2016. Monday, I gave you my contemporary “can’t waits”, Tuesday was the historicals’ turn.
Today I am pleased to present my list of the mystery/suspense books I’m most excited about from January to June 2016!
It’s that time of year when everyone is making lists and checking them twice. Some are finding out who has been naughty and who has been nice. Some are making sure those in their circles of gifting know what they want for Christmas.
Here at Reading Is My SuperPower, I’m making lists too! Every day this week will feature the best books I read in 2015 from different genres.
This week is all about those first novels by new authors, specifically the ones coming up in 2016 that we just can’t wait to read! I’ve picked some of the debut novels I’m most excited about – and then also some books by established authors who are starting either a new series or a new direction.

I must confess – today’s topic (also known as – If you write it, I will read it) stresses me out. Why? Because I have SO MANY AUTHORS on my I-will-read-whatever-they-write list. I can’t possibly narrow it down to ten. (Next confession: My budget doesn’t allow for a lot of… Read more »

After my interview with Melanie Dickerson where I admittedly drooled all over both of us, my husband politely informed me that I am allowed one flailing/gushing/drooling interview.
