Today in the United States, we celebrate Veterans Day to honor those men and women who have protected our country by serving in any branch of the military. I know that so often we take for granted that our freedom was free to us, but we don’t consider how much it has actually cost those who fought to gain it and those who fight even now to keep it. So, THANK YOU, to all of our veterans…
and WELCOME HOME!
I wanted to take a few minutes and provide you, my dear blog readers, with some great book recommendations that feature active duty United States military personnel or veterans. It sounded like a good idea when I came up with it, but I quickly grew overwhelmed by how many great books there are out there! And that’s with limiting myself to only United States military – not branching out to British, etc. So forgive me for not saying much about each book – I decided to forego my usual witty and insightful commentary (*snort*) and keep adding books to the list instead. Clicking on the title will take you to the Goodreads page for that particular book so you can find out more info that way. I apologize in advance for any of your favorites that I might have left out. Please tell me about them in the comments! 🙂
