toptentuesday

*Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog linkup hosted by The Broke and the Bookish*

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is supposed to be “Top Ten Quotes I Loved From Books I Read In The Past Year Or So” but that just overwhelmed me lol.  So I’m cheating slightly (yes, again.  Don’t judge.) and pulling out 10 of my favorite quotes from literature.

  1. These are some great quotes – I especially love the one from Goblet of Fire! I almost cheated and did my favorite quotes of all time too, haha. Finding quotes from books I read this year was challenging. Thank goodness for the “Quotes” section of Goodreads.

  2. I still guffaw each time I read that quote from the Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I really love your list, especially Anne of Green Gables. (Are you a Narnia fan? Because I am.:)) Hopped on here from your comment on my blog! 🙂

  3. What a great list! I don’t know how you pulled your ultimate top ten quotes, though. I had a hard enough time picking just from books this year. To pick an ultimate top ten! That is tough love right there. 🙂

  4. What a nice collection of quotes from classics! Love the Harry Potter and Narnia ones. I have no idea how you were able to pick ten favorite quotes of all time. I was only able to do this week’s topic because it had a limit of books read in the past year or so.

  5. I adore the quote from The Hobbit! I never realised that Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day was a book – I’d only heard of it last year when the film was released, so I’ll definitely need to look the book up. Awesome list 🙂

  6. Great list! I wouldn’t put any Harry Potter quotes on my list as it would take over and be all just Harry Potter! Thanks for stopping by, sorry it took so long to comment back. Happy Reading!

  7. Great list! Love, love the Anne with an “e” quote. If I use the name for a daughter someday, it’ll have an “e” in it 😀

  8. This is a great list, and I love pretty much each one of these quotes! The ones taken from CS Lewis are particular favorites – I actually forgot about the Eustace one … haha, poor Eustace. 😉

    Love your list, Carrie!
