*Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog linkup hosted by The Broke and the Bookish*
Today’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is supposed to be “Top Ten Quotes I Loved From Books I Read In The Past Year Or So” but that just overwhelmed me lol. So I’m cheating slightly (yes, again. Don’t judge.) and pulling out 10 of my favorite quotes from literature.
~C.S. Lewis, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
~J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire
~Judith Viorst, Alexander & The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
~Louisa May Alcott, Little Women
~L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables
~J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit
~Jane Austen, Sense and Sensibility
~J.R.R. Tolkien, The Return of the King
~William Goldman, The Princess Bride
and my absolute favorite quote in literature…(drum roll please)

These are some great quotes – I especially love the one from Goblet of Fire! I almost cheated and did my favorite quotes of all time too, haha. Finding quotes from books I read this year was challenging. Thank goodness for the “Quotes” section of Goodreads.

What a great list! I don’t know how you pulled your ultimate top ten quotes, though. I had a hard enough time picking just from books this year. To pick an ultimate top ten! That is tough love right there. 🙂
It was not easy lol
What a nice collection of quotes from classics! Love the Harry Potter and Narnia ones. I have no idea how you were able to pick ten favorite quotes of all time. I was only able to do this week’s topic because it had a limit of books read in the past year or so.
It wasn’t easy lol
Tolkien has so many quotable moments. I absolutely adore the Return of the King quote you picked.

This is a great list, and I love pretty much each one of these quotes! The ones taken from CS Lewis are particular favorites – I actually forgot about the Eustace one … haha, poor Eustace. 😉
Love your list, Carrie!
