LOL, I just told my husband that sometimes people ask this question and I have to say I rarely re-read. My motto is too many books…so little time. How can I read something again when there are so many other stories and adventures awaiting me.
I’ve read the Mitford series a few times and Blackmoore and Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson. Sometime I like to listen to a book on audio even though I’ve already read it. It’s a different experience to listen to a book.
that’s true! I fell in love with the Harry Potter series all over again when my husband was listening to the audiobooks 🙂 And Edenbrooke is always a great choice for a reread!!
I’m an avid re-reader. Sure, there are plenty of new books to read (and I read them), but books I’ve loved before hold a special magic for me. If it’s been a long time, re-reading is like connecting with a long lost friend. If it’s a favorite book, re-reading is comforting. If I’ve gotten burned by a few new books in a row (always a danger), I’ll pick up an old favorite to remind me why I love reading.

LOL that is a very valid point, Anne! 🙂 I used to re-read a lot more. Now, I do well to keep up with new reads 😛

AAAH! This quote. I LOVE so many books, I could reread them forever, but then what about the new ones? Sigh. #BookwormProblems
Have a great week:)
Haha the struggle is real 🙂
