Welcome to another edition of Top Ten Tuesday, hosted as ever by the supercool folks at The Broke and the Bookish. I’m excited about this week’s topic – not only to introduce y’all to some of my very fave bookish people to follow on the interwebs, but also to see who everyone else recommends too!
And… uh… as you might have guessed from that title graphic, there was no way to limit myself to 10. I even tried very hard to limit myself to 4 accounts from each of 3 categories… but that fell through too. So, here’s my waymorethan12butwhoscounting bookish accounts you really need to be following on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram!
Sarah Monzon – Sarah is a great newish author in contemporary Christian romance, and her facebook feed is full of fun insights into her writing process as well as quotes and photos, etc. Since she’s self-published, readers also periodically get to become involved in the book production – for instance, she recently let us vote on two cover options for her upcoming novel.
Lisa Wingate Reader’s Circle – Author Lisa Wingate peppers her reader’s circle facebook page with personal photos, bookish memes, and humor. But the highlight for me – and the reason you absolutely MUST follow Lisa Wingate – is the Huckleberry Report. Her adorable dog Huckleberry gives a daily report on the various state of his territory and humans, and it never fails to make me smile!
Becky Wade & Katie Ganshert – I’m grouping these two lovely authors together because of their annual Pinterest Wars, a hilarious competition that pits them against each other in a battle of the crafty skills. Their friendship and humor are just so much fun to watch. And they totally help me feel better about my own Pinterest project reproduction skills, or lack thereof.
Speaking of the Pinterest War… they just started it up this week! Check out their first project –
Other Suggestions – Books & Beverages, Varina Denman, The Reading Room, Pepper Basham
Laura Frantz – Laura’s Pinterest boards are as gracious and beautiful as she is! I could easily spend hours (don’t ask me how I know this) perusing her color boards or her book boards or the various themed boards, such as Simplicity and Girly.
Here are some more of my faves:
Carrie Turansky – Much like Laura Frantz, author Carrie Turansky has over 100 boards to her Pinterest name, and they are full of gorgeous images and historic photos. Downton Abbey fans will especially love spending some time on her Pinterest page, with boards such as Highclere Castle and Edwardian Brides.
Here are some more of my faves:
Jody Hedlund – One of my favorite things about Jody’s Pinterest page is all of her reader-related boards. From boards on Relaxing Reading Spaces to one simply called Read, Read, Read, book nerds will find much to occupy their time whilst there.
Here are some more of my faves:
Litfuse Publicity Group – I love blogging for the Litfuse Chicks & I love following them on Pinterest too! Boards like Giggle Inducing and Yep. are right up my alley. Plus, it’s a great way to keep up with current tours, etc.
Here are some more of my faves:
Other Suggestions – Cincinnati Library, Book Riot, Reading Is My SuperPower (uhh… y’all didn’t notice me slide my own page in there, did ya?) 😉
Other suggestions – bookmusings, bookish.mel, melissatagg
Ok… now for my fave part! Tell me YOUR top bookish people to follow because I love making new discoveries 🙂
