2016 Christy Award Winners
Many heartfelt and excited congratulations to the winners!!
Note: Susan Anne Mason will be at the Christian Fiction Readers Retreat on August 24th in Nashville. So you’ll probably not want to miss it. Just sayin 🙂
Congrats to the winners! Obviously, my TBR list is expanding again, although several of these are already on my list, and some are even on my Kindle waiting for me to get to them. I can’t believe how many wonderful books were finalists. What some stiff competition! I don’t think I’d want to be a judge–that would be extremely difficult for me. I’ve read Irish Meadows, and I abolutely loved it! Congratulations to Susan Anne Mason!!
Oh my goodness – those judges had their work cut out for them. ALL the finalists were absolutely amazing this year!
I know. I wouldn’t have been able to choose–too many fantastic reads!
Thank you, Winnie!
You’re welcome, Susan! Thanks for sharing your talents with us!
So which of these do you recommend highest? 🙂
oh gosh… I loved The Wedding Chapel and Irish Meadows (I loved the second book in Susan’s series even more). But Jody Hedlund and Cathy Gohlke are always excellent choices for historical fiction fans – I just can’t “highest” recommend those particular books as I have not read them for myself yet lol
emailing you a list now 🙂
Thanks for sharing this! Maybe I’ll get around to reading one of these this year. 😉
if you need a recommendation on where to start, let me know 🙂
I have had all but two of these…I don’t have Beth Vogt’s in my forever shelves as I passed on th joy to my book buddy! 🙂 Some really great winners!! Two of these are in my TBR pile…eager to get to them. My favorite of all these really was Secrets She Kept, I believe. It did much in changing my viewpoint on things in life. It’s a tremendous read! Jody Hedlund’s Luther and Katharina was simply amazing!!
I could not however be a judge! So many great reads.
I still need to read both Cathy’s and Jody’s books – shame on me! LOL
Congratulations to the 2016 Christy award winners! I have a couple these in my TBR. I see I have some more to add… 🙂
it is neverending lol
Thank you so much, Carrie!! I will be there and hopefully my books will be too!
haha! yay!!
