Today is one of those days when I wish I could enter my own giveaways 😀
For the next ten days – today through November 22nd – Reading Is My SuperPower is hosting the Thankful Hearts Giveaway, sponsored by TEN of your fave authors!
Each day, starting tomorrow, you’ll hear from a different author with a special message about thankfulness. But today, they’re all talking about how they’re thankful for YOU, their readers!!
G – I am thankful for my readers’ Great Sense (or should that be Senses??) of Humor! I love hearing when something in one of my books had made them laugh because I love stories that make me laugh 🙂
I – [I am] inspired by my reader’s interaction.
V – Voracious (yes, I realize this is an adjective and not a noun). I am thankful for the voracious readers of Christian fiction. You who devour the words God puts on our hearts to write and then encourage us in our unique and nontraditional calling of spreading God’s love and message of redemption through story. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you.
E – I love my readers, because they are so encouraging. In person or via email, in reviews or through Facebook messages, readers have encouraged me in countless ways. When I get discouraged and wonder why I’m pouring my heart into words on a screen, I remember my readers. My readers are why I write.
T – [I am] Touched (by your thoughtful notes and reviews!)
H – I am so thankful that readers would grant me the HONOR of picking my books out of all the published books available.
A – Anticipation. I’m so grateful for the way readers encourage me with their anticipation. Knowing that readers are waiting expectantly for that next book–really, for more story about characters they love–pushes me to do my best and take seriously this calling as a writer.
N – The word that came to me is “new” because I am so thankful to readers who are willing to take a chance on a new-to-them writer. It’s a brave risk, and it so blesses us authors.
K – K is for Kindness…I am so thankful for the kind hearts who have welcomed me and the stories I come with into their reading hearts. On the whole, the community of readers who have embraced me have been uber encouraging, bringing joy to my introverted heart, and giving me courage to continue to write. Thank you!
S – I’m giving thanks today about being here with these fabulous Christian authors! Thank you, Carrie, for hosting us as we praise our Lord for all the good things He has done. I love that I have the letter S. I went a little crazy with my idea. If you give a writer a letter… I’m so thankful for my Savior, the Son of the Living God, who loved us so much He sacrificed Himself and sealed us with His Spirit for our Salvation. He tends us gently as His beloved sheep, rejoices over us with singing, and makes His face to shine upon us. In return, I will take up His Sword which is His precious Word, and the shield of faith and do my best to be salt and light to a hurting world.
These generous authors have not just gotten together to GIVE THANKS. They’ve also put together a FANTASTIC Thankful Hearts Giveaway!!!

LOL. I hear you, Annie! Some of my favorite stories were written by the inspired ladies in this group!
Hi Annie! I think the wink will work for sure 🙂
And I’m thankful for the courage god readers such as yourself!
That’s supposed to be encouraging… not Courage God. Wow. Autocorrect ?
LOL – i was trying to interpret that! haha thanks for the clarification 😉
I am thankful that they give us fun/interesting things to read!

Hi Will! There are some very interesting books here! I’ve read several!! Thanks for stopping in!
I am thankful for your God-given talent for weaving the Word into captivating stories. All 4 of your books are wonderful!
Thank you, Melissa!! Hugs!!
Me too!
I am thankful for authors’ ability to take me to another time when I wish I had been born then. People stuck it out and mostly stayed together. Longer than they do today. I love to get away from it all in a book. Thank you authors for all your hard work. Thanks for the giveaway and good luck everyone.
yes – they’re so talented, aren’t they?
Amen to that, Debbie! Those are exactly the reasons I write historical fiction! I love immersing myself in a simpler time. 🙂 Blessings!
That’s why I read historical fiction. Writing it takes way too much research. 🙂
hahaha!
Hi Debbie! I love that, too! My parents met in WW2 & were together until 2012 when they passed away. A wonderful generation!
Read for escape? Yes, please!
I am thankful that they work so hard to keep ahead of readers’ voracious book appetite – and for providing me a way to travel the world, or back in time, or into the future without leaving my home.
yes!! well said!
I’m with you, Pamela!
Hi Pamela! I love to take a journey in a book, & there’s a diverse group to travel with here!!
Blessings!
That’s my favorite part of fiction, too! We can experience so many adventures through the pages of books.
this is especially fun for nonadventurous people like me 😉
Thank you for the opportunity to win these wonderful books by such great authors. I love Christian fiction and am thankful for the authors who write them. Inspirational, uplifting stories about people putting their trust in God and overcoming life circumstances.
absolutely, yes 🙂
Hi Carol! I know what you mean! I love the wholesome and spiritual aspects! Thank you for chiming in ?
Being one of those voracious readers Sarah mentioned, I am so thankful for authors who write books that are uplifting, inspirational, fun, suspensful, and sometimes even with a kissing factor of 10++ without all the ugliness of being “R” rated. I am thankful that when I read books by authors who honor God in their writing I can often come away thinking, how I wish God would talk to me that way and I want to know Him better so I can hear His voice. Ladies, thank you so much.
And I am hoping the great and powerful Rafflecopter picks me…
ooooo a 10++ kissing factor!! I think I need to update my KissingBook Levels 😀
We’re so thankful when God uses us as tools for His writing, Anne! These are all His words. 🙂
Hi Anne! I agree! I don’t like to feel awkward when I read scenes. I’m thankful to the Original Creative Storyteller! I’m praying you hear Him better ❤️

I am very thankful for the abundance of Christian writers out there. The more I get to know these folks and their works – and their readers (like you!), themore I realize how much I am blessed by the community of Christian Fiction.
Thanks for hosting the giveaway, Carrie. So many lovely titles, and some I am unfamiliar with. My favorite part of this post is the personalization given by the authors with their photos and their words.
The community of Christian fiction is one of the best there is! I strongly believe this 🙂 So glad you enjoyed this post, Dawn – thanks for the kind words!
Isn’t this a great community, Dawn? Such a pleasure to meet you!
Hi Dawn!! I feel so blessed to meet readers of Christian fiction! I love talking about books and how they’ve influenced hearts ❤️❤️
Blessings
I so love the community of Christian fiction!!
I am thankful for all of the great Christian authors that write books for us to enjoy reading. I usually get lost in becoming one of the characters in the story and everything else is put on hold. I didn’t use to like to read historical fiction but I love it now! Thanks to all of you for writing inspiring and uplifting stories. We need more Godliness and happiness in this world! Thanks for this great giveaway!! I’m looking forward to reading these books!
yes! well said, Donna 🙂
Another historical reader! Love you, dear sister! 🙂
Welcome to the historical fiction lovers club! ?
Donna,
I get lost in characters reading and writing!
There are some wonderful historical in this giveaway! I write contemporary and I’m so amazed with the research in historical fiction!
I’m so thankful that these authors share their gifts and talents with us. I know most of them don’t to make a living writing, so the time they take to write and publish books is much appreciated!
YES!! Amen, Patty, me too! <3
It becomes a passion, Patty. 🙂 So glad you enjoy the outcome!
I’ve found it’s a calling, like any other ministry.
Thank you, Patty! You are so encouraging! I might not have stuck to my writing if it weren’t Christian, ha! It can be a lot of work, but so worth it ❤️
Hugs
I am thankful for the wonderful stories I am able to read because of their respective hard work
me too!
Same here, Marsha! 🙂
Hi Marsha!
The fun part is the great community of readers & authors in this genre❤️
Blessings
I am thankful for the multitude of Christian authors! They write good Faith filled books and characters in a marketplace filled with so many other things. I am thankful to see more Faith-based books on the shelves of mainstream stores (there aren’t as many as I would like but at least some are making it). I remember a time when you could only get Christian books from a catalog or a Christain bookstore if you were lucky enough to live near one.
I am thankful for Christian authors that take time out of their lives to connect with their readers, on blogs such as this SuperPower one, Facebook, and other social media.
I am thankful for Christain authors that give away books in contests, FB parties, on blogs, or just because. I am also thankful for those people that host those contests and blogs, and Facebook parties.
yes, yes, yes! Well said, my friend!
Yay! So glad times are a-changin’!
Andrea, We love blogs like Carrie’s!! So much fun!!
I appreciate the amount and diversity of Christian fiction now through the Ebooks, too! Although I still live to hold a book.
Blessings
I am thankful for their books because I love to read.
me too!

Love to read and see what authors want us to learn from them.
yes!
Diane,
I learn so much from fiction! I was just saying how fun it is to learn history through stories.
Blessings
Wonderful authors whose books give me enjoyment, hope and are able to transport me to another place, era and realm.
yes – absolutely 🙂
A vacation at a fraction of the cost!
haha!
Hi Anne!
I love that you used the word hope!
I really want to offer hope in my writing!
Blessings
Hi Anne! Boy do I need to be transported sometimes. I get it! Writing does that for me, as well!
Blessings
I am thankful for Christian authors willing to use scripture & give a message of hope through their writing. 🙂
Hope is so important these days, isn’t it?
Best part of Christian fiction! The hope!
Susanne,
I love a scripture tie in!
It’s been neat to tie in my theme scriptures from Isaiah 61.
Beauty for ashes
This is phenomenal! I feel like that little kid squirming saying,”Ooo…ooo…pick me! Pick me!”
I love Anne Rightler’s comment above- all the good stuff without the R junk. That’s how I feel about Christian fiction. And the more I read author interviews, the more thankful I am to know these writers SOUGHT the Lord in their writing!
YES!! Isn’t that so encouraging?!?
Couldn’t do it without a LOT of prayer!
Amanda,
You are so sweet!
I wish I could say to pick me for the great giveaway, top, ha!!
Blessings
Wow Carrie, I see some of my favorite back-cover-faces in this giveaway. How special is that? I am very thankful for folks who use their God-given talents to put their thoughts on the page, because I sure love to read them!
“back-cover-faces” – hahaha i love it!
“Back cover faces”! That is too cute! Love it.
Hi Rebecca!
It’s great to see you here!
Some of my favorites are in this, too!
So much fun!
Blessings ❤️
I am so thankful for the variety of Christian fiction available today. I am an avid reader. I am old enough that I remember when the only Christian fiction author was Grace Livingston Hill and Christian fiction was not readily available. Today we all have access to a variety of clean reading.
I grew up reading Grace Livingston Hill too – and Janette Oke – and while I still enjoy their books I too LOVE the variety!!! Such a wealth of talent at our fingertips!
Yay!! So glad Christian fiction is diversifying to all the genres!
Hi Joan!
I’m so excited about how the market has grown, too! I pray that it gets even stronger!!
Blessings
I’m thankful for authors who share their faith with us, encourage us, and challenge us through Christian fiction! Those are some beautiful books straight from my wishlist, Carrie!!! How did you know? 😉
haha! Lucky guess? 😉 And yes, i’m so thankful for those things too, my friend!
Is there a book NOT of your wishlist? I’m pretty sure almost all books published are in my TBR list ?
lol
Hey Beth!
Sending waves and hugs! These are some of my favorites, too!
I’m so excited to be a part of this giveaway!
Blessings
Lovely! Wish I could enter! My the best rafflecopter picked person win! 😉 So exciting!!!!
you should just move to the U.S. 😉
You could enter and donate them to me if you win. LOL Or, like Carrie said, move to the US. It’s too bad the postage rates prohibit sending to Canada. 🙁 Hugs, my friend!
So sorry, Melony! Sending virtual hugs ❤️❤️❤️
I am thankful for the amazing, uplifting, and faith-filled stories Christian fiction authors write.
me too!
Hi Ashley!
We are so thankful for encouragers like you!
Thank you!
I am thankful for the ability of authors to transport me to a different time and place. They not only make me feel like I’m observing the story, but actually make me feel like I’m living the story! Reading is my most favorite thing to do and that is all due to the fantastic authors! Thanks for a great giveaway!

I didn’t realize until I started writing that there was such a craft to it! Now I so appreciate great writing 🙂
Blessings
I’m so thankful that there are sooooo many amazing Christian fiction writers to choose from–so many that my TBR list is maxed out and overflowing. I’m thankful to them for sharing their time and talents and for being willing to interact on social media with their adoring fans.
I’m also thankful to Carrie for introducing us to new-to-me authors and books and for being such an awesome promoter of books, authors, and reading! Hugs, BFFF
awww thanks, dear BFFF! <3
Carrie is THE BEST!!
oh pshaw
Hi Winnie!
Waving & smiling at you! I love how positive you are! We love you and of course Carrie! ❤️❤️
love youuuuu alllll toooooo ❤️❤️
Thankful for abundant creativity.
yes! so much creativity!
MH, I know the Lord is the author of creativity every time I see a sunset or butterfly or flower! He is amazing!
I am thankful that authors take the time to put their thoughts to paper and then so generously share them with us, giving us a chance to escape into another world for a little while and maybe even learn a little something about ourselves through the characters we read about.
yes! Me too, Julie!
Julie,
I learn something about myself from characters I write and from ones I read. I so loved Hadassah from Francine Rivers’ Mark of the Lion Series. I wanted to be like her. I met Francine at a writers conference last year and told her that. She said she wanted to be like Hadassah, too!
Wow! I’ve read some, but not some. What a great giveaway!
thanks, Susan! Hopefully you’ll find some new favorite authors by the end of this giveaway 🙂
Hi Susan! Some of my favorite authors! I’m so excited to be a part of the giveaway!!
Blessings!
Julie, we also escape while writing! That’s what’s so much fun. I spend hours at a time in a plantation home in the old South…and then suddenly it’s time to make hubby and two little boys supper back in the 21st century! ?
I am thankful for author’s sharing their hearts through their writing, also for those who choose to write outside of the box 🙂
ooo yes! me too 🙂
Hey Beth! Now I’m so curious about which books you like, and which you think are outside of the box!!
I am thankful for author’s sharing their hearts through their writing, and for a willingness to be vulnerable. I know that takes courage!
Hi Beth! Thanks for your kind encouragement!
Blessings
I thought I had commented already but I could have missed it while looking for it. I’m so thankful for all these authors willing to share this gift with someone. Also thankful to God for giving them the words they need to write.
and that they listen to Him – yes, so true, Pam! <3
Hi Pam! I often get confused about where my comments go! In fact, I commented to someone twice already today, LOL! I’m thankful to God, too! I really could ever have written a book without Him!
I’m grateful there are so many authors writing Christian fiction on any and every topic imaginable. I love the unlimited reading opportunities!
What a terrific group of authors you have assembled for this giveaway! My thanks to each of them and to you Carrie for the giveaway offering!
thanks, Tracey!!
Tracey,
I’m so happy you like our variety of authors! I’m thankful to Carrie for hosting us! And yes, there are so many topics to read about! The never ending TBR pile!
I’m thankful for all the authors that transport me to different time periods and allow me to escape from everyday life through a good book. Life would be so boring without good books and the authors that make that possible.
oh so true!
Dianne,
We cannot have you getting board! I must get right back to writing 🙂
We are thankful for you!
I am thankful for all of the stories that take me all over the world and through all kinds of situations. Reading has always been my escape, my entertainment and my travel.
for me too, Jan!
Jan, I do love to travel, but can’t do it as often as I would like, so reading is the next best thing to me! I hope you like traveling to Mississippi in my stories. Not a lot of people have that in their top 10 list in real life, ha!
I am thankful for the authors’ creativity and generous hearts.
me too!!
Hi Jeanne!
I’m always amazed at creativity! I really loved so many of these authors’ books!
I’m thankful for the authors talents. Without them I wouldn’t be reading amazing books.
absolutely!
Well, Rachel, we must keep you reading! Thank you for being so supportive!!
I am thankful for authors who write clean, captivating stories that entertain and destress me at the end of a long day or a stressful season!
such a gift they have, isn’t it?
Hi Sunshine! I love that! Sunshine! Well, it is nice to relax with a good, clean story. Sometimes when my kids were little, I read in a bubble bath, because it was my only private time, ha!
I am thankful for their imaginations and the effort it takes to refine their words into successful books.
LOL yes!
Hello, Heidi! I like how you worded that. Refining words into successful books. That would be my editor, ha!
Blessings,
I’m thankful for the amount of research these writer’s do for thief stories. Thanks to them for weaving those facts into an entertaining story. I learn so much through reading.
Their, not thief
😉
hear! hear!
Hi JJ! There may be some thief stories here 🙂
I learn through reading, too. Writing research is so interesting, as well. I enjoy interviewing people.
Blessings,
Hi JJ! Research is so much fun! When I did all the research for The Liberator Series, I read newspapers, diaries, and trial reports. I really got a feel for the historical people and they became so “real”. Then I knew so much about them that as I wove them into my story, I was able to include their actual historically recorded words and even what they happened to be wearing on a particular day. That is one of my favorite things about historical fiction.
Besides the obvious answer that I’m thankful for their books, I’m also thankful that so many authors take time to connect with their readers on Facebook, blogs, book signings, and even Skyping or in person with our book clubs. It’s really nice to have that personal connection. They aren’t just a name on a book.
i completely agree, Pam! Yes!
Hi Pam!
I love meeting readers! It’s so interesting to connect with people who share a similar view on life.
Thankful that they take the time to write!
me too!!
Charis,
I love your name! I need to take time to start writing a new story next week!
Yaaaaaay!!!!!! I love the words “new story”
Throughout my lifetime, I have read many different genres with Christian and non-Christian selections. I am most thankful for the faith thread that I can rely on within most Christian author’s books. It’s even more refreshing when a faith message isn’t veiled and the author’s love for the Lord is transparently written within the pages.
i like it both ways – depending on the story being told. But redemption is always refreshing, isn’t it? ❤️❤️
Terrill, I do love to hear a word! Thanks for commenting!
Blessings,
I am thankful for authors that keep a series going. lol
hahaha! yes, always.
Becky,
I do love a good series! I feel like I’m part of the story… like good friends.
I love reading books that “take me away.” I am thankful for authors who keep it real, but also who are Christian writers and keep things wholesome. Thanks to all for the very generous giveaway!
Yes! I love that balance too, Jocelyn!
The many adventures that they take us on. The way they leave our hearts pounding and our jaws dropped. THANK YOU!
YES!!! I agree.
Oh Connie!
I would be so smiling if I heard I made that kind of impact on a reader!
Blessings!
Yes, Connie! Me too! I love when a book takes me in like that, and I’m thrilled when readers think that way about my stories.
I am thankful for writers who just make me feel better when I’ve turned that final page.
we need that more and more these days, don’t we?
Oh neat, We have 2 Connies in a row! I love a happy ending. I don’t want to read literary works that end on a sad note. But that’s may be just me.
I am thankful for enjoyable hours reading.
me too!
Hi Aaron,
Yes! Reading hours are enjoyable hours!
Arron, I agree! There’s nothing like holing up for a few hours with a good book!
I am so thankful to authors for taking me away to another world. I love reading, am such an avid reader. I have 12 children and reading is my relaxation and I feel refreshed after reading. Author’s have the ability to make people feel such emotions.
Hi Deanne! I’m so impressed that you have 12 children! I salute you! I love traveling to another world in a book.
They so do!
I’m thankful for authors who are willing to be vulnerable in order to share stories that reach deep into our hearts and point us to Christ.
Hi Jordan!
Authors are vulnerable sometimes. I shared about my anxiety disorder with readers of Leaving Oxford. I’ve met so many readers who can relate, though, so I feel okay with sharing that 🙂
Blessings
Oh yes, me too Jordan!
Thank you, Jordan. In my Ironwood series God called me to open up some issues that were very deep and painful for me. He wanted me to show His love even through those painful times. He has blessed that effort, and having readers tell me that the story touched them has meant the world to me. It is one of the many ways He brings beauty from ashes (the theme for those books).
Love that authors write books for me to enjoy especially when I am having a rough day pain wise with my RA.
Cheryl,
So sorry you are dealing with arthritis. It’s tough. Prayers.
Glad you can escape in a good book 🙂
YES! Me too Cheryl. I’m have a bad pain day with my autoimmune stuff today too but while there’s a lot I can’t do… I can read! And it brings such joy, doesn’t it?!?
I am thankful for the stories the authors willingly share with me and also the friendship and time they offer on social media.
Hi Kristine! We can never have enough Christian friends, right!! I love making friends!
Blessings
Me too!! Such a blessing!
i am thankful authors that make you feel good and that accomplished something. Thanks for the giveaway.
Marilyn
Hi Marilyn!
I do like finishing something and feeling accomplished. My last book took me forever to end. Maybe because it was my favorite… I’m just not sure why. But it was a great feeling to finally write the end!
Blessings,
Definitely!
I am thankful obviously for the books! Lol. Really thankful for the time and dedication the authors put into writing and rewriting to get it into a successful book and hopefully a series! ? I love to spend time reading. But really like how authors are reaching out to do book chats with old fans and new readers! God Bless!
HI Crissy!
Some of us have to rewrite more than others. By that, I mean me, ha! Mercy, I can make some typos! I love to doing the chats! It’s fun to meet new people!
Blessings
Isn’t that such fun?!?
I’m thankful for writers sharing their beautiful gifts with us, giving us inside looks at their hearts.
Hi Tara!
I truly believe that any good in my heart that comes out in my writing is God’s gift!
Thank you for saying hello!
Blessings,
I love that too!
I am thankful for authors who write Christian romance books that I can share with my daughter and not worry that it is trashy
Hi Shelia,
I so agree! I literally paid my daughter to read Christian fiction (per book) at first to get her started. Then she fell in love with it, too! I applaud you!
Yes!! Such a blessing!
I am soo thankful for all of the hard work that these authors put into writing such entertaining and inspiring stories. What a great giveaway! Thank you to Carrie for hosting and for all the authors for sharing your works.
Hi Loraine!

Blessings,
Awwww <3
You are most welcome! Authors are the best!
Very thankful for authors that write incredible stories from a Christian world view.
Me too 🙂
Hi Jill!
I want to offer that Christian world view for my daughter who is 24 and those younger and older. They are bombarded with the other world views so much!
Blessings
I’m thankful for authors kindness and generosity in having giveaways. Thank you!
Aren’t they great?!?
Hi Lucy!
We are excited to be a part of the giveaway! We’re thankful for readers, too!

Pffft. I’m having too much fun this IS my prize! 😀
I am thankful that authors are authors and WRITE! I am especially thankful for Christian authors whose characters inspire me. 🙂
Hi Elizabeth!
Now I’m curious which characters inspire you! We are thankful for you!
Yes!!! I am too 🙂
Carrie, as I am on my phone, I am not sure what to write, but I am thankful for ebooks as they give me the ability to still read the awesone books authors write!
Hi Jennifer!
I have a hard time writing on my phone! Earlier Carrie and I were joking about our phones correcting the word ebook to ebola, LOL.
So happy you stopped in!!
Haha!
They are fabulous, aren’t they?!?
eBooks are great! I can carry a library in my purse!
amen! 🙂
I am thankful for authors who write books that send me to my Bible to underline or read something that was mentioned in a book! I’m also grateful that there are books that my mom and I can share together and discuss – girl talk with your mom is priceless!!!
Hi Melissa! I love that y’all do that! My daughter and I share books, too! It is priceless.
I love that too, Melissa – being able to close the fiction book & head to the Bible!
Y’all are having so much fun, I feel like I missed the party! I love reading all the comments from both the Christian authors and the readers. What a joy to connect with readers like this!
isn’t it fun?!?
CARRIE, this is a FABULOUS idea! I am thankful for Christian authors for inspiring me to be a better person. They also give me hope and encouragement. I LOVE how authors honor the Lord with the talent He has given them.
May the Lord continue to richly bless Christian authors! You have my deepest, heartfelt thanks! ((((HUGS)))))
Caryl, yes! Such hope and encouragement in Christian fiction!
Hi Caryl! I love how you worded this. You are inspirational!
Blessings
I am thankful for authors that weave the Bible through their writing. I really appreciate having so many fantastic books to read. I remember a time when there was very few Christian fiction books. Thank you all!
i remember that time too, Jeana! Such a great time to be a reader of CF now, isn’t it?!?
Hi Jeana! I remember that too. We are very blessed. I love to see the Bible in novels.
Blessings

Such encouraging comments, aren’t they? <3
Oh WOW! This is so exciting!!! Yay!!!! Thanks for hosting a wonderful giveaway and theme for the season! I am THANKFUL to the authors for sharing their stories with us. yes! yes! A thousand times yes! Love this answer 🙂
???
Hi Rachel! I’m excited, too! That first step is a hard one. We are thankful for you!
Blessings
I am thankful for their creativity and dedication!
yes! me too!
Hi Denice!
You are very kind!
Blessings
I’m thankful for authors who “put themselves out there” (which has to be absolutely terrifying) in order to give us readers great stories.
yes! definitely! me too 🙂
Hi Becky! Yes, letting it out hang out is scary. For some of us (me) more than others, ha!
Glad you said hello!
What a fun collection of books and authors! Thanks for the giveaway.

I’m thankful to God for gifting these authors with such incredible writing talent, and to them for following His plan for their lives as writers. Christian Fiction is truly a gift God has given to readers – one that educates, entertains, and inspires. It educates me re more of life’s struggles and enables me to more adequately reach out to others. I love learning more about authors personally through the bits of themselves they infuse into their writing and the other ways they reach out to their readers. Their characters give so much to the reader, among them – encouragement and hope, lessons learned, the emphasis of God’s love and plan for every person, and a certain joy that only truth imparted through fictional stories can do.
Thanks for the wonderful giveaway opportunity of these books of your hearts, authors, and thank you for your reader’s heart, Carrie!!

Hey Lauren! I sure do love it, too!
you’re quite welcome, Laurel 🙂
Okay, I’ve been trying to win one of the books in your line up in particular, because well, my TBR list is so high and not decreasing any at the moment, I tell myself if I win the book, it won’t make me feel so bad when it takes me a year or more to get to it….but then you throw in the gift card…oh, I’d pile my daughter up since she’s doing all the reading lately. Why am I thankful for authors? Because they give the insatiable reader everlasting joy. I can’t imagine hundreds of years ago being a reader and having expensive handwritten books being their only outlet, read only like 5 books in their whole lives, if that. I would die. 🙂
Oh my goodness – me too!!! Yikes. We are so very blessed to be able to carry them around with us so easily, aren’t we? And now I’m dying to know which book you’re particularly wanting 😉
Lady and the Lionheart
