Hi Glenda! Welcome to the blog!! 🙂 I start all of my guests out with a fast four

apples or oranges

Glenda: It depends. If I have peanut butter handy, then I prefer to eat apples. If I have chocolate, then oranges.

Carrie: Mmmmm, pb and apples is the best snack! But … what about chocolate and apples? That sounds equally delicious!

winter or summer

Glenda: I love the early parts of winter, and the entire summer.

Carrie: I’m the exact opposite haha!

dogs or cats

Glenda: I can’t take the rejection that inevitably comes with cats.

Carrie: Dogs for the win!! (I would like to take this opportunity to point out that dogs are the clear winner amongst the As the Ink Flows authors. Sorry, Mel & Marguerite 🙂 )

coffee or tea

Glenda: I prefer coffee for the kick, but tea is healthier.

Carrie: lol i love it – I *should* say tea but … coffee. 😉

Around here I like to say that reading is my superpower. If YOU had a superpower, what would it be?

Glenda: My superpower is love in all its forms.

Carrie: oh we need more of that these days…

Books are kind-of a big deal around here. When you walk into a bookstore, where do you head first?

Glenda: I like to hang out for a long time at bookstores and wander from section to section.  I feel like I’m in a trance.

Carrie: Bookstore stupor is a real thing. I think. If not, it should be.

What makes As the Ink Flows unique?

Glenda: I think it’s unique because we worked collaboratively with 5 authors. And we’re still friends. We even still like each other.

Carrie: LOL! That friendship between all of you really is something special to have, especially in that it survived writing a book together 😉

Which devotional from the book is your personal favorite?

Glenda: It really depends on my mood and whatever issue I am dealing with at the time.  Some of my favorites are: “God’s Time” because it’s so beautifully poetic; “My View from the Couch” because it reminds me to make the most of every moment; “Coming before God in Prayer” because I believe in the power of prayer; and “Chipping Away” because that is what I need to do every day.

Carrie: ooo your answer makes me want to grab my copy and look up each one of these devotionals to read again! I think I shall…

What do you most want authors (or readers or bloggers) to take away from As the Ink Flows?

Glenda: I hope writers feel inspired to keep on writing and share their insights and talents with others.

Thank you so much for taking time to talk with me! 🙂 Before we say goodbye for today, tell us what‘s coming up next for you!

Glenda: I would like to write another devotional.

Carrie: That would be fantastic! Please do!

I used to experience bookstore stupor weekly. To clarify, I was the cataloger at our public library and we usually received our weekly order from our book jobber on Tuesday or Wednesday. I could.not. wait to see what Santa in the brown suit had brought this good little girl!
