The week of Coming Soon posts continues! Monday, we looked at upcoming new releases for Spring 2017 in the contemporary genre, and yesterday we perused the offerings for the Fantasy and Young Adult genres. Today, let’s look at what’s slated to release January – April 2017 in historical fiction.
If you want to know more about each book, clicking on the covers will take you to that book’s Amazon page.
Here’s the breakdown for the week’s posts:
Monday – Contemporary Fiction
Tuesday – Fantasy/YA
Today – Historical Fiction
Thursday – Amish Fiction
Friday – Mystery/Suspense
Saturday – NonFiction
Oh my goodness, y’all!! THERE ARE SO MANY!!! And they all look fabulous!! TBR LIST EXPLODING!!!!! All the books. I wants them.
Side note: HELLO!?!? Four of my fave Love Inspired Historical authors all have books out in the same month?!?! Not to mention several of my other fave authors releasing books this month too – TBR list. Exploding. Unreal.
Sooooo I know this is an IMPOSSIBLE question. But… What historical new releases and/or covers are you most excited about for Spring 2017?
This is an awesome list and includes everything that I can think of, right now. I am totally looking forward to the books by Laura Frantz, Jocelyn Green, Carrie Turansky, and Tamera Alexander. But there are lots of other favorites on your list!
an abundance of riches coming up for us!
I so want to read Kristi Ann Hunter, Kristy Cambron, and Elizabeth Camden among so many others!
Did get to read My Heart Belongs in Fort Bliss , Texas (courtesy of NetGalley and publisher) and now I’m an Erica Vetsch fan, too!
yes!!! So many great books on the horizon next year!
Wow! So many great books coming up. I’ve just added a gazillion to my wish list/TBR galaxy. Thanks for keeping us up on all these books! Must hire cook and maid so I can read more! 😀
yes, me too lol
SO many good ones! I noticed the Heiress Brides one because my blog-mates
Susanne Dietze, Anita Mae Draper, and Lisa Karon Richardson wrote for it. I love those novella collections (plus the actual books are very nice).
I’m most looking forward to The Mark of the King. It’s not the usual CBA setting.
Of course, I could spend the rest of my life speed reading the books I already have, but we won’t quite get into that just now. 😉
[Also, just a heads up to you, Meez Carrie, my very first book, In Honor Bound, is free on Kindle, in case you want to give it a try. It probably has the highest “kissing books” rating of all my books. Just sayin’.]
ooooo thank you!!! (And keep an eye out for Drew on Friday’s list!)
Woo hoo! I’m dancin’ like a monkey!
Carrie, thank you for compiling this amazing list! I am excited about Jody Hedlund and Laura Frantz’s releases.
me too!!! 😀
I wants them, too! We’re going to need to add another day to the week though, Blogsday! 😀
Seriously!!
What an awesome list! There’s so many I want to read. I’m most excited about Elizabeth Camden, she’s on my must-buy list. The Mark of the King and The Elusive Miss Ellison sound really stand out to me too.
Elizabeth Camden is always an awesome read!
Oooh, I’ve read The Elusive Miss Ellison. It’s very good! 🙂
YAY!
Can’t wait for Jen’s books!
yes! yes!
I prefer contemporary fiction to historical fiction, but Karen Witemeyer’s books are must reads for me!
definitely!! And thank you for commenting on this post after I had to do repair work on the other one LOL 🙂
We’ve all been there! No problem.
Okay I’m starting to freak out!! I wrote almost every one of these historicals down for my TBR mountain!! I’m afraid for tomorrow because that is my favorite genre!!
What are you doing to me???? Haha haha
Thanks Carrie!!
LOL LOL LOL I did warn you about the historicals, Susan haha! Fortunately, there aren’t as many on the Amish list but they all look SO GOOD!!
Hahaha mystery and suspense is going to kill me too!!
oh goodness – me. too.
Super list! Thanks for including Shine Like the Dawn! I’m excited to share this story with you and our reading friends!
i’m excited to read it 😀
Carrie Turansky, your book looks and sounds so fascinating. I just put it on my wish list! Thanks a bunch for sharing your time and talents!
Isn’t that cover gorgeous??
An easier question would be which ones aren’t I excited about… historical fiction is like reading chocolate 😉 Great list!
Oooo – lovely description!
There’s so many great books coming out that I can hardly keep track of them all! Thanks for keeping us posted Carrie! I don’t see how you do it but thank you!
I can hardly wait for Laura’s new book and the cover is sooooo gorgeous! Its hard to believe that the cover is our very own Cumberland falls!
Yep! It’s gorgeous!
Carrie — T hanks so much for including A Stolen Heart in your lineup. I’m excited about returning to historicals and thrilled with the cover. Of course, I might be just a teeny bit prejudiced.
i was so excited to see your return to historicals! I loved your contemporaries but your historicals have a special place in my heart 🙂
What a huge list of wonderful reads!! I’m honored to see two of mine among them. I had the honor of reading A Moonbow Night already, and I loved it! It leans more historical fiction than historical romance. I was also really struck by the quality of all the book covers in this post! They are all just stunning. Is it just me, or are covers getting better and better?
oh my goodness! I know! All of these covers are absolutely gorgeous! So eye-catching.
Thank you for including Far Side of the Sea on your new releases blog. I feel so very honored and am pinching myself right now. I even checked twice to make sure I was really seeing it there. Sending you a great big hug! Thank you sweet friend!!
haha! awww! I’m so very excited to begin reading it!
