And now we’re at MY favorite genre, though I love all the ones we’ve covered already this week. Loving a good mystery is in my blood – from Nancy Drew, Trixie Belden & the Hardy Boys to Perry Mason & Sherlock Holmes, I come from a long line of mystery enthusiasts.
Here’s a recap of the week’s posts:
Monday – Contemporary Fiction
Tuesday – Fantasy/YA
Wednesday – Historical Fiction
Thursday – Amish Fiction
Today – Mystery/Suspense
Saturday – NonFiction
I’m including several cozy mysteries on this list which, though they are not “Christian fiction” are generally clean. If you want to know more about each book, clicking on the covers will take you to that book’s Amazon page.
ahhhhhhhh!!! I can’t even! I want them all! Now!!! SO many great authors with new releases coming out in the next few months!
What new releases in Mystery/Suspense are you excited about for Spring 2017?
Yay! Drew made your list!
Technically, the release date is January 31st, but that’s practically February, isn’t it? 😀
Wow! Those are a lot of tasty looking books. I MUST get caught up.
Thank you!
oops! they must have switched it on me after I added it to my list 😀
They’re sneaky that way. 😉
But I still think it’s cruel for them to tell me January and then make it January 31st. Why not January 1st?
Hee hee.
i agree! And uh… i may have relocated Drew to his appropriate home 🙂
Awww, you’re so thoughtful. 😀
I’m excited to finally try a Love Inspired Suspense – I’ll be reading Big Sky Showdown by Sharon Dunn (hooray for GoodReads giveaways!). I’m also looking forward Firstborn by Tosca Lee (Descendants of the House of Bathory #2) out in February.
The number of mystery/suspense series I’m reading is slowly growing, but they don’t seem to have new books coming out until next summer.
i haven’t read Tosca Lee’s series yet – but I really need to!
Holy Moly!! The mother load!!! Now, where is my list?? Hahaha I’m adding and adding and adding!!
Thank you Carrie!!
LOL LOL i’ve been looking forward to your responses every day, Susan 😀 They make me smile!
Great! I loved your lists each and every day and I’m even going to try some historicals that you posted!
yay!!! Let me know what you think of them!
Some great titles! I am a huge Eason, Mills, Pettrey, Blackstock, Bradley fan, and Cara Putman’s book looks really interesting, as well. Some GREAT Love Inspired books on that list. Thanks, Carrie!
Between this … and the Historical fiction list … I don’t think anyone had better plan on seeing me at all next year LOL
Yes, between the historical fiction releases and the suspense releases in 2017, I’m going to have a lot of reading to do! All my favorite authors – Pettrey, Mills, Eason, Balckstock, Coble, Putman, Mentink, Bradley, Reed…..they’re all coming out with books!
i KNOW!!! Mine too!!!! Argh. LOL
Collen Coble of course! I’m also excited about Dreamy Drew! 😉
Drew thanks you with his usual suavity. 😀
Thud. 😀
Mmmhmmmm 😀
That does it, Carrie! I’m coming to your house so you can give me speed reading lessons. That’s the only way I’m going to get through all these books you’ve been posting! Arrgghh! So many great books and authors.
LOL! Come on down! 😀
LOL Don’t be surprised if I pop up on your doorstep some day!
Lol! I would be delighted
Will you furnish the chocolate or just the books?
ummmm…. i suppose i could do both 😉
I’m excited to see my cold case novel, Justice Delayed, there! Thank you for including it.
I’m excited to read it! 🙂
