Here’s a look at my favorite reads from January! A pretty good mix of contemporary and historicals, but so many “ugly cry” reads this month LOL. Fantastic reads, all!
What about you? What were some of your fave reads last month?
What a great list! In January I read A Portrait of Emily Price, A Red Rose Bouquet, The Scarlet Coat, A Moonbow Night, and The Mark of The King. All great reads. I can’t pick my favorite ?. I really want to read Blue Columbine!
I’ve read “A Portrait of Emily Price”, and six of your list are in my TBR stack. Gotta go – the books are calling. P.S. Thanks, Carrie, for all the great recommendations!
A Portrait of Emily Price, Restoring Love, Maybe It’s You, Family Under a Christmas Tree, Harvest of Thorns, Because You’re Mine, The Memory of You, An Uncommon Protector.
An Uncommon Courtship, Maybe It’s You, Restoring Love. I have several of your list in my TBR pile. Wish I could read as fast as you. I’ve got 4 of my littles here this weekend, so I probably won’t get a lot read. It’s so much fun to have them here. I might not see their mom much, since she lives in a small town and need to get her retail therapy when she comes to the “big city” (which isn’t very big, but at least we have Walmart, Kohl’s, TJMaxx and some fabric stores).
I have read several of the same books; “A Moonbow Night” was certainly one of my favorites! So glad you were able to catch up on Jennifer Rodewald’s books!
I had to go back and look at which books I read in January. Lol. My favorites were One Enchanted Eve, The Warrior’s Seal, and A Moonbow Night. And I loved them all for different reasons!
I read only six books in January, but they were good ones: Seven Brides for Seven Texans Romance Collection, The Mark of the King by Jocelyn Green, Dauntless by Dina L. Sleiman, For the Record by Regina Jennings, Where Two Hearts Meet by Liz Johnson, and A Tapestry of Secrets by Sarah Loudin Thomas.
You have some authors I’ve never heard of before. Paula Scott and Aubrey Grayson. Have hear but never read Jennifer Rodewald. Might me because they are self-pubbed and in ebook format only? Must check them out. All the covers are gorgeous and if you love ’em I know I will too.
Carrie, I always get such good book ideas from you❣ And I’m more delighted than words can say about MOONBOW here ??. For some reason that’s always in grandiose caps ? ❣ Hugs & HUGE thanks❣
Never Forget for sure. But I read The Lady and the Lionheart in Jan….so………..that kinda trumps everything. Haha
yeaaaah… i understand LOL
I am still waiting on my copy of Lady and the Lionheart to come. Honestly…it’s like the fates are thwarting me with this book.
nooooooooooo!!! That’s awful!
