Happy Sunday to you!
Today on the Book Club, let’s talk about the books we’re waiting on – and wishing their release dates would hurry up and get here!!
One of the big ones for me is Sara Ella’s Unraveling, the next book in her Unblemished series. It doesn’t come out until July though. Argh.
A couple more are True to You by Becky Wade, Looking Glass Lies by Varina Denman, and The Noble Servant by Melanie Dickerson – all in May. A little closer 😀
Ok, now it’s your turn. What books are you wishing and waiting for?
Another Becky Wade fan right here:) also, Beth Wisemans third book in her Amish Secret Series called Home All Along. So many more other ones I could name, like the Latest in the Baxter Family Series from Karen Kingsbury, the finale in Amy Clipstons latest series. The list goes on and on….
indeed it does!! I could have easily done a whole series of posts on this haha
The sequel to Blackstock’s wonderful cliff hanger If I Run, If I’m Found. I’ve been desperately waiting since the hanging by a thread ending!! I believe it releases this month!
it DOES! I’ve read it and it’s just as tense as the first one haha! Now I’m desperately waiting on the LAST one. argh. haha!
So does that mean I should wait for book three before reading book two?! 😉
no. If I’m tortured, you have to be too 😉 LOL
My book club is waiting on a few — If I Run by Blackstock and Gathering Threads by Cindy Woodsmall.
i still need to read a book by Cindy Woodsmall – i’ve heard great things!
We’ve read almost all of her books. She’s the only author of Amish fiction we read as a group.
The prequel to True to You, Then Came You, is available for free on pre-order. https://www.amazon.com/Then-Came-You-Bradford-Sisters-ebook/dp/B06XCCMSPQ
I’m also looking forward to Chasing Secrets, the 4th Elite Guardians book by Lynette Eason. Oh and Sarah Monzon’s next one. Mikal Dawn’s debut novel. Sara Baysinger’s Ashen City. Dani Pettry’s next one. And Crown of Souls by Ronie Kendig!!

I’m waiting for Melissa Jagears “A Love So True” it comes out in May.
And on my wishlist is Karen Witemeyer’s “Heart on the Line” it comes out in June but it’s a little out of my budget so I’ll have to wait and see if it goes on sale.
I was anxiously waiting for “The Illusionist’s Apprentice” by Kristy Cambron (I pre-ordered it) that comes out this week, then much to my surprise, I was approved for it on NetGalley and got to read it last week! It’s so good!

I have these two on pre-order: “An Inconvenient Beauty” by Kristi Ann Hunter and “A Dangerous Legacy” by Elizabeth Camden. I don’t want to wish my life away, but my goodness, September and October can’t come soon enough. LOL!
ohhhh yes!! Both of those too!!
I’m anxiously awaiting a lot of the same ones mentioned, along with new ones by Kara Isaac, Nicole Deese, and Sarah M. Eden. Luckily, I have a few (hundred) others to read in between. LOL
I’m also eagerly awaiting a certain bookish event occuring on August 12 called Christian Fiction Reader’s Retreat where I’m hoping to meet in person a bunch of amazing Christian Fiction authors, my BFFF Carrie Schmidt and lots of other Facebook friends. I hear there are only a few spots open for readers if anyone wants to attend. You can check it out on the right side of Carrie’s blog here. I hope you don’t mind this shameless plug, Carrie!

I too am eagerly awaiting the newest Becky Wade and I had no idea that Melanie Dickerson has one coming out in May, too. YAY!!! I feel like I just binge-read the first two in her Regency Spies of London series and was so very sad when they were over because they were SO, SO good!!!
