The help only he can offer…
Cypress Pointe, Florida, is a long way from LA, where pop singer Cassie Branford needs a hit to prove she’s not a two-album wonder.
But her case of writer’s block could be over when the struggling songwriter meets Luke Hastings at a family wedding.
The legendary musician walked away from success at the height of his career. Yet Luke is already inspiring Cassie with his dedication to building a permanent community outreach center for troubled teens.
Volunteering to help bring music into these kids’ lives is also bringing her and Luke closer. Maybe they’re not as different as he thinks…

“He hadn’t expected to be moved by her.”
The Wedding March by Tara Randel is sweet and romantic, with great characters that tug at your heart.
Luke is about as swoony as they come – He’s hot, he’s a little flirty when his heart’s involved, he cares about troubled kids, he writes songs, he plays the guitar, he’s a little broody. Are you getting the picture? Swoony.
Cassie makes a very relatable heroine, even for those of us who aren’t pop stars. She’s down to earth, unaffected, and she has a warm heart. She also has family issues – namely, a father I wanted to reach into the book and purse whomp. Her relationship with her sister gave dimension to her character as well as the conflict with her father, and Cassie’s mother added some humor as well as wisdom to the story.
The romance …. blissful sigh. Two people who can’t seem to stop kissing each other, despite their best efforts to the contrary. Two people who soften each other’s rough edges and challenge the other person to rise above the pain of their past. Two people who respect and support each other in the present as well. Very sweet, very swoony – just the right amount of both.
Bottom Line: The Wedding March needs to be on your TBR list. Clean romance, fun characters, and a sweet story. It’s a look at how to deal with the tough-to-love people in our lives, as well as encouragement to hold out hope to the people struggling to find their place. This book will put a smile on your face and in your heart!
