New Releases I’m Excited About: Fall 2017 Contemporary Fiction

Posted August 7, 2017 by meezcarrie in Christian, contemporary, Most Anticipated Fall 2017 / 44 Comments

Yay! It’s my favorite week of each season – a week of posts about the upcoming new releases that I’m excited about!! Sadly, I have come to accept that I can’t possibly read them ALL while they are still considered new releases, but that has not stopped me from adding all of these to my TBR pile. #booknerdproblems

(Yes, the keenest readers among you may notice that I shamelessly copied and pasted that from last season’s post but… it’s still true and it’s #CFRR2017 week so I’m a little crazy right now lol)

Today we’re going to look at CONTEMPORARY FICTION new releases for September-December.

Does everyone (Susan D.) have their lists ready? 😉

Here’s the breakdown for the week’s posts:

Today – Contemporary Fiction
Tuesday – Fantasy/YA
Wednesday – Historical Fiction
Thursday – Amish Fiction
Friday – Mystery/Suspense
Saturday – NonFiction

If you want to know more about each book, clicking on the covers will take you to that book’s Goodreads page.

All books on today’s post are classified as “Christian” or “clean” fiction.

Cover Still to Come:

Charming the Troublemaker by Pepper D. Basham
The Esther Paradigm by Sarah Monzon

Cover Still to Come:

The Deputy’s Holiday Family – Mindy Obenhaus
The Christmas Baby – Lisa Carter
The Rancher’s Christmas Bride – Brenda Minton
Texas Christmas Twins – Deb Kastner
The Happiness Pact – Liz Flaherty
His Baby Dilemma – Catherine Lanigan
Every Serengeti Sunrise – Rula Sinara
A Gift for Santa – Beth Carpenter

(I’ll try to update the covers that haven’t been released yet – as soon as they are.)

Whew! My TBR pile is a lost cause at this point! 😉 And I probably forgot a few unintentionally. Especially indie releases because they don’t always show up in my search tools… :-/

What about you? Which CONTEMPORARY releases are you most excited about for Fall 2017? Which covers are you in love with already?

  1. Whooo hooooo!! I love when you do this and yes I’m writing them on my list right now!! Thank you for bringing them to my attention cause a girl can never wish for too many books right? Hahaha

    Happy Monday Carrie! ????

  2. MH

Courtney Walsh, Nicole Deese, Katherine Reay, Janet Ferguson, Denise Hunter, Michele Phoenix…so many great authors and so so little time!!

  3. All of the covers are beautiful. I especially love the Heartwarming ones! They always do such a good job! And Julie Cantrell’s works great with the title. Denise Hunters’ looks so inviting. I’m glad I don’t have to vote for a favorite!

  4. Paula S.

Denise Hunter, Julie Cantrell, Michelle Phoenix, Katherine Reay, love the covers and I hope to read these authors.

    And Joanna Politano…and Jaimie Jo…

Now I’m just wondering if we’re looking forward to the same books. hahahaha

  6. Linda

I’m looking forward to the books by Denise Hunter, Pepper Basham, Katherine Reay, Courtney Walsh, and Melissa Tagg… and that’s probably just the tip of the iceberg (or TBR pile)!

  7. Winnie Thomas

Hmmmmm, my TBR pile is exploding again, and these are just the contemporary books! I’m in deep trouble! 😀

  8. I am so looking forward to the new releases by Julie Cantrell and Michele Phoenix – and then to lighten the mood, Denise Hunter!

    • Carrie

yes! I haven’t read Julie’s yet but Michele’s nearly undid me a couple of times. Such a great book!

  9. So many good ones to come! Among those I’m MOST excited for (in my favored genre) is Courtney’s, Melissa’s, Nicole’s and Katherine’s. Bethany’s also has me curious especially since, again, it’s a debut author. 🙂

I’ve been keeping my eye on For Love of a Dog. I find the cover of Hometown Girl very attractive.

  11. Connie Saunders

Wow, there are some amazing authors publishing books in the next few months. I always enjoy the books geared toward the holidays.
