New Releases I’m Excited About: Fall 2017 Historical Fiction

Posted August 9, 2017 by meezcarrie in Christian, historical, Most Anticipated Fall 2017 / 31 Comments

We’ve been taking a glance this week at some of the books I’m excited about, releasing September – December this year. Today we’re going to look at HISTORICAL FICTION new releases through the end of the year. This is always one of my fave posts during ‘new release week’ because … all the cover love!!

Here’s the breakdown for the week’s posts:

Monday – Contemporary Fiction
Tuesday – Fantasy/YA
TodayHistorical Fiction
Thursday – Amish Fiction
Friday – Mystery/Suspense
Saturday – NonFiction

If you want to know more about each book, clicking on the covers will take you to that book’s Goodreads page.

These are all Christian and/or ‘clean reads’, to the best of my knowledge.

Cover Still to Come:

How the West Was Wed – Margaret Brownley

I know I’ve accidentally omitted some from this list too, but if you don’t hear from me the rest of the year it’s because I’m buried under my TBR pile 😉

What about you? Which Fall 2017 Historical releases are you most looking forward to? Which covers do you love already?

Oh man, you are killing me here. I love so many of these authors and series! Thanks for bringing some to many attention that I did not know about! See you soon!

Oh. My. Goodness!! I think we’re going to have to call a moratorium on authors writing books, until we can get caught up a little! Yikes, my TBR mountain is taking over my house! I looking forward to soooo many of these, plus there are a lot more to add now! Yikes!!

Love, Love, Love! This list! My goodness there are not enough hours to read them all. I even see a couple new to me authors that look interesting.
    Happy Book Lovers Day!

Regina, I’m so excited to read Holding the Fort! It sounds wonderful, and I loved For the Record.

  4. If I clear a shelf can I just have all of these? 😉
I’m loving the covers of Out of the Ordinary and Holding the Fort – so cheeky!

  5. Why, why, why? I’m past the buried state on my books. I’m now to the point that I think I’m going to have to start doing more than one review a day. Actually, if I were honest with myself, I KNOW, I’m waaaaaaaaaaay past that point.

Thanks for the list! I know there are many on it I’ll be reading and reviewing!!

  6. I’d have to say the Regency Brides and Captive Brides collections intrigue me most. And I’m way looking forward to more by Carolyn Miller. Sigh. So many books, so little time.

  7. CANNOT wait to read ‘Lady Jayne.’ It LOOKS and SOUNDS so good, plus i love that its from a new author. That duo is always more intriguing because we get an entirely NEW story plus a fresh voice among our favorites. 🙂

It seems Tracy Groot’s book Madman was first published in 2006 and won a Christy Award in 2007. Is this a repub?

  9. Buffy

Gah! These all look amazing!!!! Of course the fall = school for me which means less free reading time ?

Too many good ones to choose. But I have Kristi Ann Hunter’s and Ann Gabhart ‘s coming in the mail! Thanks for the heads up!
