Top Ten Tuesday: Hidden Gems in Contemporary Romance

Posted August 29, 2017 by meezcarrie in Christian, contemporary, romance, Top Ten Tuesday / 36 Comments

Welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday! This week, we’re looking at hidden gems, books that maybe fly under the radar, in a genre of our choice. I’m choosing to spotlight contemporary romance and I’m focusing on some books I loved that still have fewer than 50 ratings on Amazon.

Clicking on the cover will take you to that book’s review here on RimSP

What about you? Have you read any of these? Which contemporary romances do you think deserve more attention?

  1. Thanks for mentioning Blown Together! And I’d love some more reviews! The other novels look great, as well! Putting them on my list.
    I loved Ordinary Snowflakes 🙂

  2. Megan Hamsher

Melanie Snitker … her books are like Hallmark Channel movies: light with a line of suspense and a few twists thrown in, but still predictable romance.
    (read one book so far)

    Staci Stallings has trilogy that involve First Responders – The Courage series;
there’s also The Hope series (2 books) and The Grace series (5 books)
(haven’t read any yet, but some are on my KF)

Leah Atwood, Kimberly Rae Jordan, and Debra Clopton have a bunch of contemporary romances
(haven’t read any yet, but some on my KF)

Samantha Bayarr has some … Forever Yours series has 5 books in it
(she also has a bunch that involve Amish)

Looking Glass Lake Series by Rebecca Nightsong … Love on the Range is first book
    (haven’t read yet)

Must Love Dogs series by Jennifer Youngblood
    (haven’t read yet)

  3. Thanks for mentioning Finding Love! You’re awesome to champion reviews. 🙂
You reminded me to add my review on Amazon for a couple of these books. And I just asked my library for some others. 🙂

  4. Evangeline

Wow! I am way behind as I haven’t read any of these. Need to add to my wish list! Thanks for the tips. ?

  5. Kim

I’ve read Paws for Love and Ordinary Snowflakes – really enjoyed both! The rest are on my radar thanks to you Carrie!!

  6. Winnie Thomas

I’ve read 4 of them and loved them (and left reviews)and have most of the rest on my TBR pile/Kindle. The Thorn Healer by Pepper Basham is wonderful, also So Pure a Heart by Amber Lynn Perry and Healing Love by Jennifer Slattery. My Unexpected Hope by Tammy Gray has barely over 50 reviews, and I loved it.

    Thanks for the suggestions, Carrie!

  7. Awww, Carrie! Thanks so much for including Kale and Joe’s story up there. <3 I see several on that list that I've loved, and a few I still have on my TBR pile! It is ever-growing… but you know all about that!
