Happy Tuesday! Today’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is (as you may have guessed) ‘books I want to see under the tree’.
Books are always a good idea to have on a Christmas list. Why? Well first … duh. đ Second, they don’t go out of style and they won’t not fit if you gain or lose a few pounds. They don’t spoil and they don’t die. This makes them a perfect choice for those family members or friends who save your leftover Christmas ideas and use them for other gift-giving occasions too. In fact, I was tempted to just copy and paste last year’s list for today’s post (i didn’t) because I still wouldn’t mind seeing any of these books under my tree!
Instead though I’m going to look at some ‘how to’ books that I would love to own:
Clicking on the book cover will take you to the buy page.
Some affiliate links may be used at no cost to you.
What about you? What is something you would like to learn how to do?
Oooh, I may have to have the hand lettering book! đ
right?
I have a hand lettering or two on my list and The Beautiful Word Devotional. And as always, many, many books of fiction. I enjoy buying books for our grands too.
i am the book-gifting aunt đ
I have told my family I really wouldn’t mind if every gift under the tree were books or gift cards. I hate when people say , “don’t you get tired of books?” âšď¸
LOL yes! i totally relate
Oh, my daughters would love that Hand Lettering book. Thanks for posting it!
yay! you’re welcome đ
The hand lettering book looks neat! I used to do calligraphy, but I haven’t had (made?) time for it in decades. I really enjoyed used real ink and creating beautiful letters.

I think it’s fun that most of these are different than what you blog about. I think we could all use some help with organization and being busy!
i know i certainly need constant reminders to just REST…. but also to declutter lol
Such a unique list Carrie! All of these looks interesting đ
I hope you get the books on your wishlist đ

Ooo that handlettering book looks good. When I was younger I use to do calligraphy. I wish I’d kept at it. Now that hand lettering is big I want to start doing it again.
