Top Ten Tuesday: New Releases I’m Excited About – Winter 2018 Fantasy/Young Adult Fiction

Posted December 26, 2017 by meezcarrie in Christian, fantasy, Most Anticipated Winter 2018, YA / 19 Comments

Happy Tuesday! I pray you had a meaningful & joy-filled Christmas in spite of whatever circumstances you are currently facing or have faced this past year. ♥

We have now reached my favorite week of each season – a week of posts about the upcoming new releases that I’m excited about!! Sadly, I have come to accept that I can’t possibly read them ALL while they are still considered new releases, but that has not stopped me from adding all of these to my TBR pile. Because what kind of booknerd would I be if I didn’t have a TBR galaxy that threatened to TAKE OVER THE UNIVERSE??!!

Here is the schedule of posts so you can zero in on your fave genre!

TODAY: Fantasy/Young Adult Fiction
Wednesday: Contemporary Fiction
Thursday: Historical Fiction
Friday: Mystery/Suspense
Saturday: Amish Fiction
Sunday: Non-Fiction

(And stay tuned for New Year’s Week when I break down my FAVE READS of 2017!)

If you want to know more about each book, clicking on the covers will take you to that book’s Goodreads page.

I’m excited about all of these, but which ones am I most excited about?

  • The Man He Never Was by James Rubart – a modern reimagining of Jekyll and Hyde
  • Reclaiming Shilo Snow by Mary Weber – because I MUST KNOW what happens next!
  • Olivia Twist by Lorie Langdon – a reimagining of Oliver Twist in which Olivia is born in a workhouse and raised as a boy among thieving London street gangs, now a high-society debutante who can’t forget her past
  • Fierian by Ronie Kendig – because… Ronie Kendig.

What about you? Which upcoming Fantasy/Young Adult titles are you most excited about?

  1. FIERIAN!!!! Woohoo! So excited for the final book in the trilogy! I’ve also been waiting on The Golden Vial for some time now, so it will be good to get the conclusion there. I’m keen to discover Gloria Clover’s series, too, but I haven’t read Mary Weber’s new series yet. If I can get to Sofi Snow, then I’m sure I’ll be eagerly anticipating Shiloh Snow too!

  2. Caryl Kane

I am giddy with excitement! I can’t wait to get my hands in FIERIAN! The Man Who Could Transfuse Time! 🙂

  3. Oooh, I’ll definitely be checking out your other posts this week. YA sci fi/fantasy isn’t my favorite genre, but it looks like 2018 is going to be a banner year for it. I’m more interested in mysteries and historical fiction. I also like Amish books, so yes, I’ll definitely be back. I’m also adding your blog to my Bloglovin’ feed because it looks like I’m going to be visiting you regularly 🙂

    Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
