This is my favorite week of each season – a week of posts about the upcoming new releases that I’m excited about!! And today’s genre is MY personal favorite to read…

Here is the schedule of posts so you can catch up on what you’ve missed & zero in on your fave genre!

Tuesday: Fantasy/Young Adult Fiction
Wednesday: Contemporary Fiction
Thursday: Historical Fiction
TODAY: Mystery/Suspense
Saturday: Amish Fiction
Sunday: Non-Fiction

(And stay tuned for New Year’s Week when I break down my FAVE READS of 2017!)

If you want to know more about each book, clicking on the covers will take you to that book’s Goodreads page (unless the Goodreads page isn’t up yet)

I’m excited about all of these, but which ones am I most excited about?

  • Oath of Honor by Lynette Eason – a new series from one of my fave suspense authors? Yes please!
  • Surgeon’s Choice by Richard L. Mabry MD – Dr. Mabry’s medical experience gives his thrillers that extra dose of authenticity to keep you on the edge of your seat from page one
  • The View from Rainshadow Bay by Colleen Coble – New series. Colleen Coble. That cover. YES PLEASE.
  • High Treason by Diann Mills – ok, I’ve already read this one but y’all are gonna love it!
  • The Baby Assignment and Hidden Currents by Christy Barritt – because… Christy Barritt
  • If I Live by Terri Blackstock – I just stayed up into the wee hours of the morning reading this conclusion to the If I RUN series and … WOW. Just wow. I’m excited for y’all to read it too!

My Fave Covers?

I’m intrigued by Dana Mentink’s LIS. Suspense and a western feel, I’m guessing! I’m so pleased that we have such a great number of suspense and mystery authors in Christian fiction, and that cozies are a growing genre in the CBA.
thanks for another great list. AND OOOOH more lovely covers!

You know me – I’d love to read them ALL!

I always pick covers as I scroll down. I also loved the Another One Bites the Dust and the Night Stalker ones. I loved The View from Rainshadow Bay because that color always draws my eye. Shattered Lullaby had both dog and baby – deadly combination for attracting me. 🙂 Who Moved My Goat Cheese? is too comical not to love as well.

So many wonderful books by so many wonderful authors! I’m excited about ALL of them, and can’t wait for them to be released!

Reverse that for me – if I’m going to read fantasy or dystopia (not really ever sci-fi) I want a lot of suspense mixed in lol
