Welcome back to my week-long series about the upcoming releases I’m excited about from May-August 2018! Today we’re looking at my fave genre, Mystery/Suspense and while there isn’t quite the quantity that there is in the Contemporary or Historical lists the quality of what’s coming up is just as excellent.

Just as a reminder, here is the schedule of posts so you can zero in on your fave genre!

Tuesday: Contemporary Fiction (non-Amish & non-suspense)
Wednesday: Historical Fiction (non-Amish & non-suspense)
Thursday: Mystery/Suspense (non-Amish)
Friday: Amish Fiction
Saturday: Speculative/YA
Sunday: Non-Fiction

If you want to know more about each book, clicking on the covers will take you to that book’s Goodreads page.

Covers to Come

Guarded Prognosis (Richard Mabry)

I’m excited about all of these, but which ones am I most excited about?

Yeah, I’m gonna have to cheat again and go with ‘ALL OF THEM’ – they all look so good!

My Fave Covers?

I could easily go with ALL of them here too, but here are my top three.

What about you? Which mystery/suspense titles are you most looking forward to? Which covers are your faves?

  1. Wow, you are killing me…….I’m saving this one to make my list over the weekend. I can’t write anymore this week. Tomorrow is my most favorite genre! I just know you are going to have another huge post…..my hand is still sore from the contemporary post! Hahaha

    Great post as usual Carrie!???

  2. Rosalyn

Oh man! My favorite genre and So MANY good ones shown here!
    My top 3:
    Called to Protect
    Dead Drift
    The Reckoning of Gossamer Pond
    Formula of Deception
    Thirst of Steel
    Justice Betrayed
Oh wait. That’s more than three. Sigh, impossible to name a favorite. 😉
And there are some others too that you have listed here that I want to read.

  3. I’m most looking forward to Thirst of Steel by Ronie Kendig (though I’m a book behind on the series), and, of course, anything by Dana Mentink. This is one of my less read genre’s, but the cover of Murder at the Flamingo in particular is calling to me 😀

  4. Amy

This is my favorite genre as well. Looks like my summer is going to involve lots and lots of reading…just like I like it. Ronie Kedig’s Thirst of Steel is my most anticipated, but am sad it’s the final book in the series. And that cover?! Yuminess squared! How I’ll miss you, Tox! 🙁

  5. Gloria

This is my favorite genre and there are so many of these that I am looking forward to reading. I have some of them in an ARC to read already and some on my wish list.

  6. Melissa Andres

I’m most looking forward to The Reckoning at Gossamer Pond and The House at Saltwater Point! So good!

  7. Winnie Thomas

What a great bunch of books! There are so many I’m looking forward to. I’m looking forward to Tox again but with heavy heart since it’s the last in the series. 🙁
