She’s the most unconventional woman he’ll ever meet…
and the cure for a perennial bachelor?
Raised by her healer grandfather, former army medic Ally Mowak knows her alternative approach to traditional medicine puts her at odds with most of her Alaskan town.
That includes Tag James, the rugged transport pilot with the sprawling family and political ambitions.
Ally couldn’t be more wrong for the aspiring senator.
Then why does everything feel so right when they’re together?
Other Books In This Series
It was such fun to return to Rankins, Alaska, and visit with Hannah again – whom I struck up a fictional friendship with in A Family Like Hannah’s! In this fifth book of the series, we focus on Hannah’s brother Tag and the tiny-but-fierce woman who captures his heart.
First of all, be prepared to swoon over ruggedly handsome Tag… when you’re not wanting to reach inside the book and purse whomp him 😉 He loves kids and anytime he’s in a scene with a family member’s kiddos he transforms into a daddy wanna-be and sets our hearts all aflutter. Also in his favor? He’s a pilot with a servant’s heart (that last one may be his downfall, though, too) and a deep loyalty to his family and friends. That loyalty combined with his servant’s heart put him in some impossible positions in Bachelor Remedy, which means his budding romance with new-girl-in-town Ally Mowak has a few rough patches to navigate.
Ally is a delightful breath of fresh air in the heroine department – she’s a unique blend of characteristics, from a diverse background, with a little bit of a sassy side and a strong sense of independence. Her views on alternative medicine inevitably get her into trouble in the small Alaskan town and. with Tag eyeing a seat in the state senate (that he may or may not really want), the simmering romance between them sets the gossip mills buzzing. And when I say ‘chemistry’, i mean sparks and sizzle and some positively swoonilicious kissing sessions!
Bottom Line: Bachelor Remedy by Carol Ross has a vivid setting, engaging characters, and an electric chemistry between the protagonists. The small town feel adds to its charm, and lots of twists and turns keep reader interest high. While Tag and Ally may appear to be opposites in many ways, they actually have a lot in common where it really matters. There is still plenty to be said for the whole ‘opposites attract’ theory, however, and their witty banter and sizzling romantic tension prove why. A sweet story with just enough spice to be swoony!
(I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.)
My Rating: 4 stars / Love it!
KissingBook Level: 4 / Keep those fans and fainting couches close by!
USA Today bestselling author Carol Ross grew up in small town America right between the Pacific Ocean and the Cascade Mountains, in a place where you can go deep sea fishing in the morning and then hit the ski slopes the same afternoon. The daughter of what is now known as free range parents, she developed a love of the outdoors at a very early age. As a writer, Carol loves to breathe the life she has lived into the characters she creates, grateful for the “research material” that every questionable decision, adrenaline-charged misstep, and near-death experience has provided.

What about you? Do you use any kind of alternative medicine (homeopathic, oils, home remedies, etc.)?
Thank you for your review and information on “Bachelor Remedy” by Carol Ross. Appreciate you being part of the book tour.
I’d very much love the opportunity to read this book.
Forgot to answer – sorry. 🙂
I do use different methods. I have lots of problems that leave me limited on the medications that I can take for pain which seems to increase with every day. I keep getting the same answer – we would give you “x” but due to this or that we can’t give it to you. I’ve heard so many times, that their hands are tied and pretty much that I’d have to learn to live with it that it makes you look for alternatives. Some work, some don’t and even the ones that do may not work for long but you keep looking. 🙂
Sadly true ?
No alternative medicine. Though it does sound intriguing.
I agree

I have used a few home remedies. I have been checking into essential oils. I loved what was said about swooning and wanting to purse shop him. I needed the laugh today.
