Hi friends! Instead of the suggested Top Ten Tuesday topic today, I’m continuing with my NEW QUARTER NEW RELEASES series for this week. As 2018 winds to a close, we are looking at the great books (and covers!) coming out in September-December. SO MANY GOOD BOOKS. My TBR pile is whimpering from its storage unit on a separate planet. But i LOVE it. #bookwormproblems
Here is the schedule of posts so you can zero in on your fave genre!
Monday: Contemporary Fiction (non-Amish & non-suspense)
TODAY: Speculative/YA (and some children’s reads)
Wednesday: Historical Fiction
Thursday: Amish Fiction
Friday: Mystery/Suspense
Saturday: Non-Fiction
If you want to know more about each book, clicking on the covers will take you to that book’s Goodreads page.
Not at all of these titles are speculative. Not all are young adult. But as so many are both, I decided to group them together.
Covers to Come:
Fate of the Watchman by Chad Pettit
Blood Moon Redemption by Judy DuCharme
I’m excited about all of these, but what am I most excited about from this collection?
- everything in September!
- especially Holes in the Sky by Patricia Polacco because … MISS EULA’S BACK!!! ♥
- Emerald Illusion by J. Rodes because she is awesome and it’s Wizard of Oz-y!
- The Gift that I Can Give by Kathie Lee Gifford because I’ve read it and it’s ADORABLE!
My Fave Covers?
What about you? Which upcoming Speculative and/or YA (or children’s) titles are you most excited about? Which covers are your faves?
Stay tuned for Historical Fiction tomorrow!
Ooo! I have a copy of “Meet the Sky” (Blink is SO amazing and kind when it comes to sending out books), but alas, I haven’t read it yet. Also, glad to see Jody continue her series and “Carols and Chaos” looks so cute. 🙂
Oh, goodness! Carols and Chaos sounds delicious! 😀
I like the cover for Worthy Rebel by Jody Hedlund the best. Would love to win a print copy! Thank you for the opportunity to enter a giveaway! Carrie, you are a blessing! Thanks! Lual Krautter My email is: krautter12ATbresnanDOTnet
Emerald Illusions looks like The Wizard of Oz. I also like Escaping Houdini. Once again we have great books coming our way!
I am determined to read “Emerald Illusions” . . . . it’s a little out of my normal preferences, but I trust the author to make it work and to make it work well.
Holes in the Sky looks wonderful.
Quite a few but Meet the Sky is the one I want the most! Awesome post as always Carrie! Thank you!?
Have you read the other books by Kerri Maniscalco? How did you like them? They intrigue me, but I’ve yet to pick them up!
i can recommend the first one – highly! But the second one I was disappointed in – too gory and there was a particular subplot I could have done without. I’m hoping this 3rd one is much more like the 1st!
I’m excited for the YA releases too. Thanks 4 sharing these books with me.
