New Releases I’m Excited About: Fall 2018 Mystery/Suspense

Posted August 24, 2018 by meezcarrie in Christian, cozy mystery, Most Anticipated Fall 2018, mystery/suspense / 17 Comments

Happy FRI-YAY! Today, I’m continuing once again with my NEW QUARTER NEW RELEASES (yay!) series for this week. As 2018 winds to a close, we are looking at the great books (and covers!) coming out in September-December. SO MANY GOOD BOOKS. My TBR pile is whimpering from its storage unit on a separate planet. But i LOVE it. #bookwormproblems

Here is the schedule of posts so you can zero in on your fave genre!

Monday: Contemporary Fiction (non-Amish & non-suspense)
Tuesday: Speculative/YA (and some children’s reads)
Wednesday: Historical Fiction
Thursday: Amish Fiction
TODAY: Mystery/Suspense
Saturday: Non-Fiction

If you want to know more about each book, clicking on the covers will take you to that book’s Goodreads page.

Today is MY favorite genre (though I love all the others I’ve featured so far this week too) and – did you hear that sound? – that was my TBR pile mountain galaxy universe giving up. 😉

Covers To Come:
The Bloodstone Ring by Barbara Taylor Sanders (rerelease)
Warrior by Linda Rodante

Covers to Come:
To Err is Human by Amy Rognilie

I’m most excited about all the books. Again. Let’s just get that out of the way lol.

And I’m reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally excited about the JustRead September “The Perfect Hideout” book box. Because the book is (drum roll please) COST OF BETRAYAL by Dee, Dani, and Lynette. We’ve got great items to go along with it, as well as a note from one of the authors and a Q&A with the other two! How do you get this goodness for your very own? Click on the image below to go to our Etsy shop 😀

Want 10% off? As one of my readers, just enter MEEZC at checkout! (if it doesn’t already do it for you)

My Fave Covers?

What about you? Which upcoming Mystery/Suspense titles are you most excited about? Which covers are your faves?

Stay tuned for Non-Fiction tomorrow!

  1. Oh my…my fave genre, there are SO MANY beautiful books here on this post. I hardly know where to start and stop!! 🙂
I will mention the ones at the TOP of the list, but this is by no means conclusive… 😉
The novella collection by Henderson, Pettrey, & Eason. (LOVE, love this!!)
In Too Deep by Lynn Blackburn–wow!
Leaving Lavender Tides by Colleen Coble (can’t wait to finish this series!)
Delayed Justice by Cara Putman (also love this series, and eagerly anticipate this one!!)
Burden of Proof by Diann Mills
    Mind Games by Nancy Mehl
    and…
there’s one by a new author, one I’ve never read or heard of before, that I can’t wait to try–Tell Her No Lies by Kelly Irvin
    Thanks for sharing these!!:)

    • Carrie

Rosalyn, Kelly Irvin writes Amish fiction usually. This romantic suspense is a first for her & I can’t wait to read it!!

  2. Paula Shreckhise

Do I want them all? YES! I agree on the fav covers. Just add In Too Deep. My favorite genre is a tie between historical and this one.

  3. Hi! Am very excited to see new covers from many of my favorite CF Romantic Suspense authors coming out this Fall, and into December! Look forward to entering any giveaways and possibly winning a print book (or two, or ALL). Thanks for the opportunity, Carrie! God bless! Lual Krautter krautter12ATbresnanDOTnet

  4. What?! Laurie Alice Eakes has a LI Suspense coming out? I’m not a huge suspense reader (though I read any of Dana Mentink’s I can get my hands on), but I’m definitely adding Perilous Christmas Reunion to my TBR.

  5. Oh nooooooo!!!! My poor TBR mountain just exploded! I love the Love Inspired Suspense books Carrie!! I am going to have to read every second of the rest of my life to get all of the books you showcased this week!??Have a great weekend my friend!?? Off to make ANOTHER list!!!

  6. Thank you, Carrie! I hover between hope and hopelessness. My TBR pile feels like the leaning Tower of Pisa, but at least I can plan my calendar with a few “gotta be done by” dates!!

  7. Gloria

This is my favorite genre so I am not even going to start naming my favorite ones…too many! Thanks, Carrie!
