New Releases I’m Excited About: Fall 2018 Non-Fiction

Posted August 25, 2018 by meezcarrie in Christian, Most Anticipated Fall 2018, nonfiction / 7 Comments

Happy Saturday! Today, I’m finishing up my NEW QUARTER NEW RELEASES (yay!) series for this week. As 2018 winds to a close, we are looking at the great books (and covers!) coming out in September-December. SO MANY GOOD BOOKS. My TBR pile is whimpering from its storage unit on a separate planet. But i LOVE it. #bookwormproblems

Here is the schedule of posts so you can zero in on your fave genre!

Monday: Contemporary Fiction (non-Amish & non-suspense)
Tuesday: Speculative/YA (and some children’s reads)
Wednesday: Historical Fiction
Thursday: Amish Fiction
Friday: Mystery/Suspense
TODAY: Non-Fiction

If you want to know more about each book, clicking on the covers will take you to that book’s Goodreads page.

I’m excited about all of these, but what am I most excited about from this collection?

  • Irresistible by Andy Stanley – because a) I love his teaching and b) this is where my heart is right now
  • I’d Rather Be Reading by Anne Bogel – I’ve read this already and it’s SO GOOD!!! Make sure you grab a copy for yourself.
  • Book Girl by Sarah Clarkson – because who wouldn’t want a book with that title and that cover?

My Fave Covers

What about you? Which upcoming Non-Fiction titles are you most excited about? Which covers are your faves?

I’d be interested in Eat at Home Tonight if it comes with a chef! I NEED The Minimalist Home. I’d pay extra if it could come with a dejunker/organizer. Maybe I’d Rather Be Reading would be the book for me! 😀

  2. The prayers of Jane Austen one looks really cool. I feel like a couple people in my life might like that for Christmas. 🙂

Some great suggestions and I have pinned several as options for our church library. I don’t take the time to keep up with these kinds of releases, so this is soooo helpful.

I actually love Lysa Tererust’s cover, since I am somewhat familiar with the ministry of Proverbs 31. But “The Minimalist Home” covers a topic that I am trying to embrace at this stage of life.

And yes, “Book Girl” looks so inviting . .. would love to have that red chair!
