Top Ten Tuesday: Cover Love – Snowed In Edition

Posted December 11, 2018 by meezcarrie in Top Ten Tuesday / 16 Comments

Happy Tuesday! Today’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is a freebie so I’m going back to the post I was supposed to do last week and just ran out of time before I could get it done.

I grew up in Northern Illinois, almost in Wisconsin, and while I love Kentucky (where I live now) it only gets enough snow to satisfy me once every 10 years or so.

I want snow.

I miss snow.

I have no snow.

So I’m living vicariously through these gorgeous covers in this special ‘snowed in’ edition of Cover Love!

What about you? Have you had snow yet this winter? Which of these covers is your fave?

I feel the exact same way you do about snow!! We can commiserate! LOL I LOVE these covers and I am so tickled you included SPAH! Thank you so very much! I can see there a few books in this list I need to read. 😉 <3 HUGS!!!!!

  2. So Pure a Heart is my favorite of these, based on the cover alone. No snow here yet, but we are getting our Pacific Northwest seasonal rain. 🙂

Yes, we have snow . . . and cold . . . and deer tracks all over the snow! Carrie, you and Amber can come and visit me anytime and get your fill of snow. I’ll furnish some hot chocolate. 😀

Christmas at Carnton I think. We haven’t had any snow just rain and more rain. Lol. We hardly ever have much more than flurries here in my part of MS

Haven’t been snowed in YET. They had predicted 8 inches of snow on top of ice this last weekend, but it wasn’t that much. We got the ice, but only 2 inches of snow.

“Christmas at Carnton” is my favorite one and I’ve read it. Second would be “An Endless Christmas” and haven’t gotten to read it yet.

So Pure of Heart is my favorite of the covers–just lovely.

In our part of Minnesota, we had our first flakes in September, with some snow on the ground about 80% of the time since mid-October. The ice houses have been out since at least Thanksgiving (for the all-important ice fishing season).

Only three months without any snow this year, since last winter’s snow had only melted in May.

What a fun post! Here in the Piedmont of NC, we don’t get as much snow (although we had several inches over the weekend) as I grew up with, in the North Carolina mountains. Still, nothing like Wisconsin.

Amber Lynn Perry’s cover has to be my favorite, but the others are so beautiful, as well. And of course we know lie in between the front and back.

You can borrow some of my snow. I got 9 inches the beginning of this week. I love snow, but I want to go out shopping. I’m interested in a few of the books you’ve mentioned.

We had snow flurries in Alabama yesterday, but that’s it! ? I love these snowy covers! I think I like Cynthia Ruchti’s blue cover the best! So peaceful!!

  10. These are some great eye catching covers. I am not a huge snow freak, but I do like to see it around Christmas, maybe next week would be a good time to start.
