New Releases I’m Excited About: Summer 2019 Historical Fiction

Posted April 30, 2019 by meezcarrie in Christian, historical, Most Anticipated Summer 2019, romance / 22 Comments

Hi friends! It’s time for a new season of new books! ALL THE GREAT BOOKS! I was officially born with a reading list I will never finish.

Here is the schedule of posts for the week so you can zero in on your fave genre!

Monday: Contemporary Fiction (non-Amish & non-suspense)
TODAY: Historical Fiction
Wednesday: Speculative/Youth
Thursday: Mystery/Suspense
Friday: Amish Fiction
Saturday: Non-Fiction

I decided this time to do a combination of the ways I’ve been doing this post. I’ll post all the covers here (because I missed seeing all the pretties in one place last time) and then I’ll also include a link to my Goodreads shelf with the books. The shelves will stay up until the new year.

I think I got everyone but if I overlooked you, I sincerely apologize – so many books to keep up with haha! Just let me know and I’ll correct the oversight 🙂

And y’all. I’m in so much trouble. These books. I WANT TO READ THEM ALL!!!!!! Every. single. one. And we haven’t even made it to my fave genre of mystery/suspense yet. Help! lol (Susan, if you’re reading this, my list gives up hahaha)

What a lovely bunch of books! I have at least half of them on my TBR list already, and where am I going to find the time to read the rest of them??? Book problems!!! I need to hire a cook, gardener, and maid. Any takers?

Thanks, Carrie, for sharing these with us! Love you my BFFFFC!

The Express Bride & Stars of Alabama got added to my list! Several others I already had on my list, most notably in my mind is The King’s Mercy.

  5. So very many wonderful books, so very little time!! I love historical fiction. I know I won’t get to read most of them for quite a while, but it doesn’t keep me from putting them on my tottering TBR!!
Thanks for gathering them together in one place.

For me, the most beautiful one does amazing things with my favorite colors: Until the Mountains Fall.
    oh gosh!
Plus I have a swoon alert on The Noble Guardian, and I love our Cameo Collection cover. I wonder if July is the last month where the larger Barbour collections are out… What an outstanding list!

I definitely added some of these books to my wishlist. I love the cover on Daisies And Devotions. Probably because of the daisies. I love daisies!
