New Releases I’m Excited About: Summer 2019 Speculative & Youth Fiction

Hi friends! It’s time for a new season of new books! ALL THE GREAT BOOKS! I was officially born with a reading list I will never finish.

Here is the schedule of posts for the week so you can zero in on your fave genre!

Monday: Contemporary Fiction (non-Amish & non-suspense)
Tuesday: Historical Fiction
TODAY: Speculative/Youth (including children, MG, and YA)
Thursday: Mystery/Suspense
Friday: Amish Fiction
Saturday: Non-Fiction

I decided this time to do a combination of the ways I’ve been doing this post. I’ll post all the covers here (because I missed seeing all the pretties in one place last time) and then I’ll also include a link to my Goodreads shelf with the books. The shelves will stay up until the new year.

You may be wondering why I lump these two genres together. Initially I was focusing mainly on YA books in this category – many of which that interest me also are considered fantasy or speculative fiction. So rather than initially separate them or try to figure out what fit better where I combined them… and have recently expanded to featuring a couple of children’s books as well.
