I have loved every book I’ve read by Lynette Eason, and her latest Blue Justice series is no exception. My copy of the next book in this riveting series arrived on release day (thanks, Amazon!) and I can’t wait for some time to dive in and read Vow of Justice! It’s the last book in the series (WAIL) but I have it on good authority (as in, I begged the author for info) that Derek will get his story in her November release, Protecting Tanner Hollow

Lynette Eason is the bestselling author of Oath of Honor, Called to Protect, and Code of Valor, as well as the Women of Justice, Deadly Reunions, Hidden Identity, and Elite Guardians series. She is the winner of three ACFW Carol Awards, the Selah Award, and the Inspirational Reader’s Choice Award, among others. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and has a master’s degree in education from Converse College. Eason lives in South Carolina with her husband and two children. FBI Special Agent Lincoln St. John is living his own personal nightmare. What he never expected was to find Allison very much alive shortly after her “murder.” As his anger and hurt mix with relief, Linc isn’t sure how he’s supposed to feel. One thing he does know for sure: he and Allison will have to work together to stop a killer before she dies a second time–this time for good.

Bestselling and award-winning author Lynette Eason closes out her Blue Justice series with a story that will have you tearing through the pages to get to the stunning conclusion.

Other Books in the Series

Hi Lynette! Welcome to the blog!

Lynette: Oranges, because I like the taste better. My all time favorite is pineapple, though.

Carrie: I’m so glad you added pineapple because… yum!!!

Lynette: Winter. Because summer should be stricken from the calendar. I hate the heat. LOL.

Carrie: Amen & amen & amen! Where do I sign the petition? lol

Lynette: Dogs because I just got a new puppy. I’ve just never really liked cats that much.

Carrie: awww! new puppies are the best!

Lynette: Tea because I hate the taste of coffee.

Carrie: I would make the same choice – I hate the taste of coffee more than I hate the taste of tea – but I’d rather just have a diet coke haha!

Q: Around here I like to say that reading is my superpower. If YOU had a superpower, what would it be?

Lynette: Writing. 🙂

Carrie: Yes, yes I think that’s definitely your superpower!

Q: Who is your favorite book character from childhood?

Lynette: Nancy Drew

Carrie: that totally does not surprise me 😀

Q: If I sneaked a peek in your purse right now (which I would never do, I promise!), what would it tell me about you?

Lynette: That I appear to be terribly disorganized and junky—which in my personal life, that may be true. But it definitely doesn’t apply to my writing life. 🙂

Carrie: haha!

Q: Do you have the whole plot outlined before you start writing, or do you let the characters dictate what comes next?

Lynette: I have the plot very loosely plotted out. I like the characters to figure out what happens next.

Carrie: the best of both worlds!

Q: What do you most want readers to take away from Vow of Justice?

Lynette: I want readers to realize that while they may never be in a life-threatening situation, God still cares about them and desires to be an active participant in their lives. Even when it comes to the small stuff.

Carrie: He is so personal in how He cares for each of us, isn’t He?

What about you? Have you read this series yet? If so, who is your favorite sibling in the St. John clan?

i have read the whole series and hate that it is ending. I am excited for the new book coming out next. I can’t say that I have a preference of one over the others. I like all the characters but maybe Brady?

I have read the whole series except this latest one. I just got it on release day and I have it next on my TBR mountain. Can’t wait to find out how Lincoln’s story continues! As with all of her books, I love the whole family of characters and each book changes my favorite!

I have read the whole series, except Vow of Justice, I do have a review copy of it and I’m using it as a reward for finishing my other review books this month! I think this is my favorite series by Lynette, and I can’t possibly pick a favorite St. John, I adore the entire family! ❤️?

I love this series, and like all the members of the St. John family. Their mom is one tough character.
