Top Ten Tuesday: Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Bookworms 2019

Posted November 19, 2019 by meezcarrie in Christmas, Top Ten Tuesday / 16 Comments

Happy Tuesday! Today’s theme for Top Ten Tuesday (a linkup hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) is Changes In My Reading Life but I wasn’t really feeling that one this week. The only real change, after all, is that I don’t have time to read as much as I want to anymore – and then I’d wail and y’all would comfort me and it would be a sad post. LOL So I decided to do a list of stocking stuffer ideas for bookworms instead! And of course I did more than 10 (go big or go home!)

  1. I have one of those lights! I love it for sewing, but it’s a little bright for actually reading, especially in bed at night. You could land airplanes or perform surgery with that light. LOL

  2. Andrea Stephens

Great ideas! I have an older version of the Wearable Book Light. Mine has a red light option that isn’t quite as bright. For my other “too bright” booklights, I tape a colored piece of tissue paper to the lamp to tone it down. I’ve even been known to put an empty prescription bottle over the light to give it a nice amber glow.

  3. I love these ideas! This year I’ve been thinking of making bookish gifts — like maybe elastic bookmarks or sewing up some book sleeves.
