Caroline Carlyle’s hopes and dreams were crushed when her fiancé died six weeks before their wedding. For years, she wrestled with aching loss and shattered faith, struggling to find the inspiration that once came so easily. Abandoning her half-finished piano compositions, Caroline traded her old ambitions for the comfort and familiarity of life as the town’s piano teacher.
But Caroline’s life turns upside-down when a mysterious stranger enters her life, bringing courage andfresh purpose. Inspired by her new acquaintance, Caroline embarks on a quest to track down the beloved rare piano she played as a child. Her search leads her to Rockwater, the Kentucky estate of a wealthy gentleman, where Caroline finds her heart may be composing a surprising new song.

Life’s true beauty is found when the heart is set free
Caroline Carlyle has finally shed the heavy shackles of grief and rediscovered her heart’s song. Between her return to making music and a budding relationship with the charming Roderick Adair, Caroline’s life is full of fresh inspiration and new hope.
But just as she begins to experience this freedom, Caroline discovers that one of her piano students is carrying a painful burden of her own. Bella, a prodigious musical savant, and her caretaker, Gretchen, share a dark, hidden past—more dangerous and complex than Caroline ever could have anticipated.
The more Caroline uncovers, the deeper her loyalty to the two women grows. Can Caroline help Bella and Gretchen find the same freeing power of love to break the hold of secrets and oppression?
Phyllis Clark Nichols grew up in the deep shade of magnolia trees in Georgia and weaves her Southern culture into character-driven stories that explore profound human questions. She is a classically trained musician and enjoys art, books, nature, cooking, travel, and ordinary people. After retiring as a cable network executive, Phyllis began leading mission teams to orphanages in Guatemala and now serves on three nonprofit boards, where she works with others who are equally passionate about bringing hope and light to those who need it most. Phyllis and her husband live in the Texas Hill Country.

Grief and the past
The whole synopsis of the book sounds good.
These are the first romance novels that I have ever seen that focus on the piano and artistic students of the piano. Would like to read these since I studied classical piano for most of my young adult life. Thank you for this.
Grief.
Sounds like an amazing book. I would love to read this.
These sound fantastic! I’d love to read them!
The story interests me about her finding a long lost piano.
I’d absolutely love to read these books, especially after reading the description. I’ve added to my Goodreads TBR list, but when I went to do it got the message site not secure, so I couldn’t check it off, but they are added.
The lost piano and grief.
