What about you? What interests you most about Once Upon an Irish Summer?
Love split time novels, and the fact one character is from Ireland? I totally want to read this one now.
me too!
I’m interested in learning about Allen in 1817 and the young gal in 2018, in Ft. Wayne, IN (which I have been through!) And, what is in those old letters!?
right?? I need to read it! lol
This sounds fascinating! Both the “back-in-time” story and the modern day story are intriguing! I’m not usually interested in YA books, but I’ll be looking for this one in April!
right? me too!
The link between the past and the present interests me.
yes!
I like the mystery / intrigue of the 200 year old letters and how they will help the grieving young artist have hope again.
me too, Bernice!
Split-time novels are one of my favorite genres!
mine too!
time period
I’m not a big fan of time split novels, but I always appreciate when the modern day characters are able to learn from those in history.
This sounds like a wonderful book! I love the cover and I like that it takes place during two different era’s.
i love that cover too!
I love the time period. It sounds really great
I love anything about the Irish and Ireland.
Marilyn
I like books that are set in another country and Ireland has beautiful scenery.
me too!
The book’s title caught my attention right away. I’m enamored with all things Irish, all things of Ireland… You know how some people talk about having a “spirit animal”? I often think of Ireland as being my “spirit country” of sorts.
