Hi Melissa! Welcome to the blog!

Melissa: Winter. I live in Florida. ‘Nough said.

Carrie: yes!

Melissa: Cats! They have attitude, like a lot of my characters.

Carrie: LOL!

Melissa: Over. I’m not a psychopath.

Carrie: I’m not sure what that says about me…. because it’s clearly under 😉

Melissa: Is there a difference?

Carrie: … okay we may need to revisit the psychopath thing…. haha! (the correct answer is Coke.)

Q: If you knew you were only going to be allowed FIVE books for the rest of your life, besides the Bible, which five would make the cut?

Melissa: Jane Eyre, O. Henry short stories, Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice, Endless as the Rain

Carrie: Oh phew, I won’t pursue the psychopath thing any longer. You won me over with O. Henry & Harry Potter 😉

Q: If I sneaked a peek in your purse right now (which I would never do, I promise!), what would it tell me about you?

Melissa: She’s organized. And why does she have a screwdriver and tape measure in there?

Carrie: hahaha

Q: Some authors like to hide little things in their stories. Is there anything you have hidden in A Dream Within A Dream

Melissa: This one is for Mike: his wife had emerald green eyes, so a minor but very important lovely character in Dream Within A Dream has emerald green eyes, as a tribute to her.

Carrie: that’s so sweet – i love that!

Q: What is one of your favorite quotes from A Dream Within A Dream & why do you love it?

Melissa: “Here’s what I know: I’m not crazy. I mean I’m pretty sure I’m not.” I guess I like this part because it’s honest, and it really shows us something about the character. This is where we really start to see into his mind.

Carrie: oh that’s an intriguing quote….

Thank you so much for taking time to talk with me! 🙂

I just started writing romantic suspense, so it especially gets my attention now. I’m definitely intrigued by this one. It sounds like a fabulous book! (But I can’t help hearing The Impressive Clergyman when I see the title.) 😀

    P. S. Of course cats!

  2. Sonnetta Jones

I am intrigued with the title and all things relating to the mob. I wanted to be a mafia Princess.

  3. Amy M.

I have been chomping at the bit waiting for the next Coffey & Hill book. The first two were great and I can’t wait to read this next one.

  4. I love books like this. Love the book cover. I think what interests me the most about the book is the plot. It’s intriguing, mysterious, interesting not to mention the book calls to me.
I would love to read and review your book in print format.
I’ve written 4 books for fun and love books like yours.
    Hope I Win

I am interested because I particularly like this genre. I am very interested in the storyline because it is based on a real art heist. Best wishes to the author on the novel.

I just saw this book listed with other new Revell books coming out this week. The title, A Dream Within a Dream, sounds interesting. After I read the synopsis (which I loved) and found out this is book 3 in a series, I knew I had to read it as well as books 1 and 2. Sounds like a great series.
