TO READ OR NOT TO READ
GENRE: Literary Journal for Book Lovers
PUBLISHER: Ink and Willow
RELEASE DATE: November 3, 2020
PAGES: 208

Keep track of the books you read, record thoughts on your favorite books, get inspired for your next read, and reflect on your literary spiritual journey with this beautifully designed journal for readers.

The perfect addition to any personal library, To Read or Not to Read encourages readers of all genres to immerse themselves in a classically illustrated reading journal complete with DIY book review pages and inspirational reading lists. To Read or Not to Read allows readers to step into the book critic role and determine which books to recommend, and which ones to skip based on their reflections throughout the journal. It includes a “How Bookish Are You?” quiz and spotlights on authors such as Flannery O’Connor and Frederick Douglass, whose published works have greatly influenced the combined spheres of faith and literature.

With additional fun facts and helpful conversation starters for literary discussions, this journal will become the signature accessory at book clubs, on nightstands, and on every book lover’s shelf.

What a fun new reading journal for anyone who likes to keep track of their books and prefers pen to paper rather than digital (or likes a mix of both). The cover is elegant with a bit of whimsy (crossing off that silly little ‘not’) and sturdier than a paperback while also more flexible than a hardcover. And the inside is even more delightful – you can tell it was created by people who unabashedly love all things ‘books’. From the table of contents to the ‘books i want to read’ list at the end, To Read or Not To Read has been crafted with readers in mind. Not only are there lots of places to keep track of books you’ve read (and your thoughts on them), there are fun little bookish quizzes, author spotlights, quotes, and book lists as well as plenty of ways to personalize it.

Bottom Line: This is the perfect gift for any reader in your life – or for yourself! And I dare you to stop at one. I’d love to see them eventually come out with different versions & themes so it can truly become a collection for avid bookworms. While I personally prefer typing my reviews on the blog or Goodreads, I will definitely be buying this for people I know who love journaling! And I’m absolutely keeping my copy because it’s so pretty!

(I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.)

My Rating: 5 stars / fantastic!
