Top Ten Tuesday: Series I Did Not Get to Read in 2020

Happy Tuesday! I took a break from Top Ten Tuesday during my move & the holidays in December but now I’m back and excited about a new year of posts! Today I’m looking at entire series that I did not get to read in 2020 – even though they began and ended (as far as I can tell) last year. And let’s not talk about the standalones … or the series that didn’t end in 2020 …. or the series that started in 2019 and ended in 2020. Argh. <cue copious wailing & gnashing of teeth from my general direction>

I can’t do much about only having so much energy every day (any other #spoonies out there?) and being too exhausted to read by the time I fall into bed. I have made some changes to how I schedule things, though, and I’m making it my goal to catch up on all the fabulous reads I couldn’t quite get to in 2019 and 2020. When the fact that I started a company called JustRead in 2018 becomes ironic because I no longer have time to ‘just read’, then some margin is needed in my life 🙂

  1. I’m several books behind on Susan May Warren’s recent excellent Global Search and Rescue series, but intend to catch up soon. She is a talented, hardworking author absolutely at the top of her game. I can’t wait to catch up on her adventurous heroes who also overcome fairly heart-rending challenges almost as big as the mountains they climb. I would personally start with that series.

  2. Well, thanks a lot! I wasn’t aware of a couple of these series so now the TBR list is more out of control. 😉 Seriously, the series by Christy Barritt looks like a lot of fun. I am also currently reading one book in the True Blue K9 Unit: Brooklyn series. I had already determined I need to read more in that series. Great list. Hope you get to them soon.

I only read The Dance with Me series and I enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing. Blessings

The only series I have read on this list is the Global Search and Rescue series. I loved them! You probably already know, but you should read the Montanna Marshall series first. I spent the month of October in Susan May Warren world reading both of those series!

Christy Barritt’s Sidekick series is different and original. Easy reading. A good mystery in each, with a central mystery (and romance) woven through all the stories. I recommend them.
