Three Great Things: March & Easter 2021

Posted April 4, 2021 by meezcarrie in Christian, Three Great Things / 3 Comments

March 2021 just flew by for me, and the end of the month was crazy busy for me so I’m just now getting around to March’s Three Great Things post. However, instead of just a recap of March, I decided to celebrate my favorite day of the year with three great things I read, watched, listened to, and learned during March and Easter 2021.

West Ridge Church – Good Friday sermon

This sermon by our pastor Paul Richardson stepped on my toes in all the best ways. How is Jesus revealed in me?

Death Was Arrested

Death Was Arrested is one of my very favorite worship songs – at Easter or any time of the year – and this is my favorite version of it.

West Ridge Church – Easter service

I love love love our church so very much. They consistently reflect our hearts for Jesus, His Word, worship, small groups, prayer, compassion, and service. We are so blessed to be part of this church, and while I normally have it queued up to start at the sermon for y’all on these posts, I have the whole service today because the music, the tribute to frontline health workers, the sermon – all of it reminds me why I love Jesus, why Easter is my favorite day of the year, and why I love this church.

three great things i learned

– the first recorded tropical storm to affect California was the San Diego hurricane of 1858. I read with bated breath as Richard & Clarinda battled the gale force winds & the effects of this storm in Sing in the Sunlight by Kathleen Denly and did my own research beyond that because I was intrigued 🙂

– bunnies can be trained to be comfort therapy animals. Who knew??

– Joanna Gaines is adorable in the kitchen. If you haven’t already, check out her new show Magnolia Table!

What about you? What are three great things you read, watched, listened to, and/or learned in March and Easter 2021?
