Bottom Line: A Marriage of Inconvenience by Amy Vastine was a lot of fun to read, from start to finish! Evan and Sophia’s bonding over their shared trauma leads to instant chemistry that has you rooting for their happily-ever-after despite the seemingly impossible obstacles in their way. When a man falls in love with one woman while engaged to another, you typically want to purse whomp him, but I really liked how the author wrote Evan’s situation in this book. It’s framed in such a way that you don’t hate him for falling in love with Sophia while engaged to his best friend Jamie – and you actually kinda like Jamie too. Sophia’s YaYa and Evan’s brother Zeke are fabulous supporting characters, and they add an extra dose of heartwarming to the mix. Be prepared to smile a lot when you read A Marriage of Inconvenience!
