Three Great Things: April 2021

How is it already May? Where did April go? Anyway, the end of the month means it’s time for another Three Great Things post, the new blog series I started in January. There’s so much negativity in the world right now, so many reasons to despair and feel like life is one chunk of bad news after another. But y’all there ARE great things still going on out there, if we just stop to appreciate them. So that’s what I want to do every month – even just to keep my own focus on the good things God’s allowed me to experience. So here’s three great things I read, watched, listened to, and learned in April 2021!

three great things I read

three great things i watched

We’ve recently started watching Duck Dynasty again from the beginning on Tubi, and oh my goodness I LAUGH SO HARD whenever it’s on. Laughter is good for the soul, and Uncle Si is great for some hilarious moments.

The Masked Singer is back, and we love watching this with family & friends, texting each other about clues & our guesses during the show. And for the love, will someone please help me figure out who Robopine is?!?!  lol

Our church is doing a sermon series on Traps and this one on Apathy from last week was really good! Today’s on Guilt & Shame was even better but it’s not up yet lol.

What about you? What are three great things you read, watched, listened to, and/or learned in April 2021?

I think the Russian Dolls are Hanson and Robopine is MC Hammer! Those are my guesses but I’m probably wrong 😂💜

Loved Duck Dynasty. That episode shopping with Sadie was hilarious, especially Uncle Si in his top hat and cane get up!
One great thing about this week is I got my second covid shot. It threw me for three days but it’s OVER!
Another great thing was seeing YOU, Carrie, hugging your Mom and Dad! Great pics!

    • Yay for 2nd shots!!! I’m so glad you’re feeling better from it 🙂 And yes!! Yesterday was a great day. Thank you, Paula!!

Fun! April for me was pretty much all baseball, homeschool, and more baseball. Ha! Looking forward to a little more breathing room in May. Enjoy your Southern spring!
