Happy Tuesday! Today’s theme for Top Ten Tuesday is my ten most recent reads, and I’m excited to share them with y’all. Especially as I loved each of the books I’m featuring today but haven’t had time to review most of them yet. Can anyone else relate?

This Time Around
Denise Hunter, Melissa Ferguson, Kathleen Fuller

How could you go wrong with these authors? Well, you can’t. And I swooned all over each story – 3 hunky heroes, 3 fabulous heroines, lots of humor. Sign me up!

The Anatomist’s Wife
Anna Lee Huber

I’ve been wanting to read this series for a long time, and I finally got the chance to carve out some time to start with this 1st book. Really great atmospheric mystery, sizzling romantic chemistry (especially in the next couple of books), and overall it’s a clean read, too (just a couple of mild curses every once in a while).

Harbored Secrets series
Natalie Walters

This is another series I’ve been dying to read, and when I was in a romantic suspense reading mood the other day, I binge-read all 3 books. SO GOOD y’all. I love the small town Georgia setting, the characters, the romance, the suspense. All of it is fabulous.

Books Can Be Deceiving
Jenn McKinlay

Books, a library, cozy mystery, a dash of romance? Yep, my kind of book! I enjoyed the surprising twist this plot threw at me toward the end, and I swooned over Sully…

Whole Latte Murder
Lena Gregory

The mystery takes several surprising detours, and the cast of potential suspects could easily fill Gia’s cafe to capacity.  Along with the complexities of the whodunnit & the yummy breakfast food sizzling on the griddle, the power of friendship and community shines brightest of all.

A Marriage of Inconvenience
Amy Vastine

This book was a lot of fun to read, from start to finish! Evan and Sophia’s bonding over their shared trauma leads to instant chemistry that has you rooting for their happily-ever-after despite the seemingly impossible obstacles in their way. Be prepared to smile a lot when you read it.

A Painted Summer
Amy Matayo

One word: CHEMISTRY. Darby & Lennon have enough sparks between them to light up all of Los Angeles on their own. I loved this cute, swoony quick read romance.

The Medallion
Cathy Gohlke

Wow. Such a powerful and moving story. I read this a couple weeks ago and I’m still processing it. Everyone needs to read this.

What about you? What are some of your most recent reads? Have you read any of mine?

  1. I have read the first two of Natalie Walter’s series, and had the third from the library for 8 weeks and never had the time to read it (had a lot of deadlines at the time). I will be reading “This Time Around” soon. Is “Books can be deceiving” a clean read? All of them sound good, thanks for sharing!

I’m reading Living Lies right now! It has been on my TBR literally since it released and I’m so happy to finally be getting to read it! 😊

  3. Arletta

I loved A Painted Summer. Christmas at Gate 13 is also good. I’ve been binge reading through Amy’s books.

  4. Perrianne Askew

Natalie Walters series is my fave! She writes romantic suspense so well. She has a new series located in Washington, D.C. titled Lights Out that releases in November. That’s a long time to wait, but it will be well worth it.
