Top Ten Tuesday: Cover Love – Gone to the Dogs

Posted May 11, 2021 by meezcarrie in Christian, contemporary, cozy mystery, historical, mystery/suspense, romance, Top Ten Tuesday / 14 Comments

Happy Tuesday, friends! Today’s theme for Top Ten Tuesday is books with nature on the cover so I couldn’t resist doing a cover love post that’s all about the dogs. From beautiful illustrated covers to cute photo covers, these books span a range of genres from contemporary to historical to cozy mystery and romantic suspense. And I really had to force myself to stop because there were so many others I could have included!

(Now, just to be clear, I am using the title of this post – Gone to the Dogs – only in its most literal sense, i.e. that all the covers have dogs on them. Not in its idiomatic meaning – to become ruined, to change for the worse – in any way, shape, or form. Just so we’re all on the same page. lol)

I love these covers and the dogs on them!

YAY for dogs!!! I really like Ronie Kendig’s ‘A Breed Apart’ series that features military war dogs.

  2. Thanks for including Sprinkles of Suspicion on your list! I love that my cover designer was able to use my grand-puppy as the model 🙂

The Bengal cat is a unique example of the successful crossbreeding of wild and domestic breeds. They are active, playful, and sociable pets. The Bengal breed combines the best features of their ancestors: not only an attractive appearance, but also intelligence, curiosity, activity, and friendliness. All about Bengal Cat
