Happy Tuesday! Today’s theme for Top Ten Tuesday is about secondary characters we wish would get more attention but I’ve talked about that at least one other time so I decided to do a different topic. A few weeks ago, I noticed by accident how many titles in my goodreads list have silence in the title, so I thought it would be fun to feature them here!

What about you? Which books with silence in the title have you read? Which books from my list do you want to add to your TBR pile?
Okay lady!! Stop blowing up my TBR mountain!!😂💜
bahahahahaha
I’ve read Land of Silence by Tessa Afshar and Silenced by Dani Pettrey. I never realized how many books had silence in the title!
Wow, there are a lot of books with silence in their titles!

thanks, Lydia!
I see some that I have read. It’s a great list, Carrie.
thank, Gloria!
Thanks for mentioning Silence in the Dark! I’ve read about half of these…must get busy!
i’ve only read about half of them too (maybe just a tad over half) so I’m right there with you lol
I have read Sarah Loudin Thomas and Patricia Bradley and Dani Pettrey. I have Relative Silence but have not read it yet. Cynthia Ruchti is one I really want to read as well as Robin Caroll , Susan Sleeman and Carol Post.
Great choices and a unique topic.
that Cynthia Ruchti book is one of my very faves by her 🙂
Read:
Conspiracy of Silence
Land of Silence
In TBR stack somewhere from your list:
Silenced
Dead Silence (both titles)
Broken Silence
Ones in my list that aren’t on your list:
Sookie’s Silence
(Westward Home and Hearts Mail-Order Brides, Book 16)
by Marisa Masterson
Shattered Silence
(The Men of the Texas Rangers, Book 2)
by Margaret Daley
A Silence in the Heart: A Heartwarming Christian Romance
(Holmes Crossing Book 4)
by Carolyne Aarsen
I have a bunch of titles with SILENT in them… does that count? lol
that’s for another post hahaha
Wow, that’s a lot of books with silence in the title. I think your TBR pile may actually eclipse mine, and that’s saying something!
hahaha I’ve actually read a bit over half of these but still… yeah … my TBR pile/list/galaxy is out of control lol
I loved When Silence Sings. So many good ones listed.
i did too 🙂
Wow, that’s indeed a lot of silence! I love the cover (and title) for White As Silence, Red As Song, and also Silence of the Jams haha 🙂
me too! 🙂
Wow, I never would have thought there would be that many. I’m sure you have just shared the tip of the iceberg here.
likely so – these were just the ones I had on my goodreads shelves lol
How long is your TBR to have this many books with “silence” in the title? Wow. My TTT Characters who need their own novels
my TBR list is out of control but i’ve read a little over half of these 🙂
Ooooh, I love this topic! The word silence connotates secrets and mystery – at least for me – so I definitely find titles like these intriguing. I’ve probably read a bunch of books with “silence” in the title, but of course none are coming to mind…
Happy TTT!

Great list, Carrie! I’ve read a few of them.
I love your posts, they are always so creative!!! I will have to come back to this list tomorrow and add some to my TBR list! I haven’t read them and didn’t know they existed. Thanks for sharing.
Great list! It’s funny how some words just seem to appear over and over in book titles. I did a similar list a few weeks ago using the word Day.
I twisted the topic some, as I have trouble remembering secondary characters.
When you get the chance, I hope you stop by my post: https://readbakecreate.com/10-books-that-deserve-more-love/
I had no idea there would be that many! I have Tears of the Silenced by Misty Griffin on my TBR Kindle list but haven’t read it yet. When Silence Sings by Sarah Loudin Thomas catches my attention the most (not that the others don’t, LOL). I must get busy!
Wow, I never noticed there were so many book titles with the word silence in them.
I need to add them all to my TBR pile. Thank you for sharing. God bless you.
Great list! I have the Sarah Loudin Thomas, Tracie Peterson/Kimberly Woodhouse and Cynthia Rutchi in my TBR 😀
I even “read” this post in a hushed tone…😜 Thanks for sharing!! 🥰📚
So many good books! I’ve read several by Tracie Peterson. Great author!
