New Releases I’m Excited About: Late 2021 Amish Fiction

Posted August 21, 2021 by meezcarrie in Amish, Christian, contemporary, giveaway, Most Anticipated Late 2021, mystery/suspense, romance / 20 Comments

Hello! Welcome back to another day full of great books and towering TBR piles as we look at this new season of upcoming releases! Let’s jump into Late 2021 Amish Fiction New Releases (September-December).

Here is the schedule of posts for the week so you can zero in on your fave genre! (I apologize for not having this post up yesterday – I had too many things to do & not enough time to do them.)

Tuesday: Contemporary Fiction (non-Amish & non-suspense)
Wednesday: Historical Fiction (non-Amish & non-suspense)
Thursday: Mystery/Suspense (non-Amish)
TODAY: Amish Fiction
Today: Speculative/Youth
Sunday: Non-Fiction

In my continued quest to streamline these posts I’m only selecting a few I’m most giddy about to spotlight here. A book is featured probably because the cover or author pulled me in and then the blurb confirmed it. (I’m pretty picky about the Amish fiction authors I read so this list is naturally more narrowed down than the others.) I’ll also include links to all the September-December 2021 releases, each in their own list by month. You can also keep up with 2021’s new books as I learn about them by bookmarking the ‘2021 Releases‘ page on my blog menu & checking it periodically!

He was as free as a bird–until a chase for a rare White-winged Tern takes him to the one place on earth he planned to never return: his Amish home in Stoney Ridge. Desperate for photographs of the elusive tern, Ben hires a local field guide, Micah Weaver, and boards at Micah’s farm, planning to “bag the bird” and leave Stoney Ridge before anyone recognizes him. But he neglected to plan for Micah’s sister, Penny. One long-ago summer, Penny had introduced Ben to birding, even sharing with him a hidden eagle aerie. That eagle became his spark bird–the one that inspired his lifelong love. Ben. He was Penny’s spark bird. That was when she knew true love. She’d always hoped Ben would come back to Stoney Ridge. Back to his Amish roots. Back to her. The only problem? Ben has absolutely no memory of Penny.

Oh, my! Another list that I can’t resist! So many great offerings from some of my favorite authors but I have to choose both of Mindy Steele’s new books, Christmas Grace and His Amish Wife’s Hidden Past. Mindy is one of our own, a Fleming County, Kentucky gal, I also want to read A Christmas Courtship because it’s the 3rd book in the Berlin Bookmobile series and I was once a bookmobile librarian! Also a big shout-out for An Amish Quilting Bee, because 3 of my favorite Amish authors have each contributed a novella. The covers are certainly beautiful but I do love the Christmas Grace cover! Thanks Carrie, for another great wish-list!

  2. 🤶🎄🎅🤶🎄🎅🤶🎄🎅🤶🎄🎅 its Christmas!!!!!

PS: I’m writing every one of these down!! Luckily I already have some of them through Netgalley but I will be hunting all of the rest down. But first, I will be stalking Netgalley until they magically appear!!😂📚🤗💜

Meez Carrie is blowing up TBR lists all over the place. I want to read all of them, but time limits are a reality. So how do I narrow down my choices? SOS

  6. Vivian Furbay

  7. Perrianne Askew

I’m not huge on Amish fiction, so I think I would just let you pick one for me. How about that?
