Hi reader friends! Is anyone else besides me super ready for FALL?!? Pumpkins and apples and cider and hot chocolate and suspense reads and cozy quilts and cool weather and pretty leaves … and college football. I am here for it! And I’m back with my own spin on the popular ‘spell the month in books’ challenge – instead of using the books i plan to read in a specific month, I am doing a cover love post for books that released in that month. Here we are again at the end of another month, so without further ado – so let’s look at this spell the month cover love for August 2021! (I am also thrilled to report that I don’t have to cheat at all this month because I found covers/titles for every letter of August, thankyouverymuch.)

    Those are so fantastic!
Reading Karen’s now. I’ve already read Under the Bayou Moon and To Write a Wrong.

I love these! With each new release my list just keeps on growing! I love the green on A Seaside Summer’s cover!
This month I was so excited to help launch Dogwood Winter by Candace West! The cover was beautiful, too!

I always love Jen Turano’s covers. They really match the fun, quirkiness of her characters!! I also love Amanda Dykes book covers, including this month’s “Yours is the Night”. Thanks for sharing your fun list. 🥰📚

Under the Bayou Moon and To Write a Wrong both have my attention! I’d really love to read any of these titles, though.
