POINT OF DANGER
SERIES:
Triple Threat #1
GENRE: Inspirational Romantic Suspense
PUBLISHER: Revell

RELEASE DATE: October 6, 2020
PAGES: 377

Radio talk show host Eve Reilly is used to backlash from her pot-stirring on-air commentary and interviews, but now it seems a disgruntled listener is resorting to more than angry words to express their displeasure. When a suspicious package arrives on her doorstep, Eve turns to law enforcement for help.

Police detective Brent Lange can’t find any evidence to link the string of unsettling incidents that follows, but he’s convinced they’re connected. As the harassment grows more menacing, it becomes clear someone wants Eve’s voice silenced–permanently.

But unless he can track down her foe, fast, the gutsy woman who is willing to take risks for what she believes–and who is swiftly winning his heart–may not survive.

Bestselling author and three-time RITA Award winner Irene Hannon is back with a heart-stopping new series that will have you turning pages well into the night.

I asked the author…

What do you most want readers to take away from Point of Danger?

My primary goal with all my books is to entertain readers. To take them out of their everyday lives for a few hours and whisk them off to a different world. We all need a break from our routines—especially in this COVID era—and fiction is a great way to take a journey to someplace new…and sometimes dangerous…without ever leaving the safety of our homes. Suspense novels let readers experience the chills and thrills of high-stakes situations risk-free.

With this book, I also wanted to demonstrate how easy it is for people to fall prey to  temptation—and the havoc that can wreak as one lie leads to another. On a pleasanter note, I wanted to leave readers with hope that even a badly damaged relationship isn’t beyond repair when people are willing to listen with an open heart, forgive past hurts, and offer someone a second chance.

Irene Hannon is the bestselling, award-winning author of more than sixty contemporary romance and romantic suspense novels. She is also a three-time winner of the RITA award—the “Oscar” of romance fiction—from Romance Writers of America and is a member of that organization’s elite Hall of Fame.

Her many other awards include National Readers’ Choice, Daphne du Maurier, Retailers’ Choice, Booksellers’ Best, Carol, and Reviewers’ Choice from RT Book Reviews magazine, which also honored her with a Career Achievement award for her entire body of work.

Millions of her books have been sold worldwide, and her novels have been translated into multiple languages.

Irene, who holds a BA in psychology and an MA in journalism, juggled two careers for many years until she gave up her executive corporate communications position with a Fortune 500 company to write full-time. She is happy to say she’s never missed the rush-hour commute, corporate politics, or a Blackberry that never slept.
