Three Great Things: September 2021

Happy October! Happy FALL! The beginning of one month means the end of another & the end of September means it’s time for another Three Great Things post, the new blog series I started in January. It’s easy these days to get discouraged by all the infighting and anxiety and heartbreak in the world right now. But there ARE great things still going on out there, if we just stop to appreciate them. So that’s what I want to do this month & every month – even just to keep my own focus on the good things God’s allowed me to experience. So here’s three great things I read, watched, listened to, and learned in September 2021!

Redemption in Cherry Springs was such a great new mystery from Hallmark & I hope there will be many more of them to come! Well plotted with a wonderfully diverse cast with a dash of romance potential and some humor too. I loved it!

yaaaaay!!! The Masked Singer (the only TV show I watch every week) is back!! And I know who the Mallard is. 😀

Such a convicting and encouraging sermon from one of our pastors! I hope you make time to watch this one. Our new series “In the Waiting” – through 1 Thessalonians – has been SO GOOD so far.

I am SO excited The Masked Singer is back!!! And they even referenced my town in one of the clue on episode one (Cooperstown). I wrote that down in my notes so I could see how that person is involved or had a visit to Coop.

I am reading a wonderful ARC Tacos for Two y Betsy St. Amant. I have not watched anything. I have also read Dying for a Change and Murder by Numbers both by Kimberley O’Malley. Thank you so much for sharing. God bless you.

I just finished A Flicker of Light by Katie Powner, The Ice Swan by J’Nell Ciesielski (maybe someday I’ll learn to spell her last name), and First Christmas on Huckleberry Hill by Jennifer Beckstrand. Any one of these are definitely winners!

I looked up your review of “Burden Of Poof.” Great title and cover, and the setting and the great cat Clyde sound like they’ll make for a fun story!
