Top Ten Tuesday: Book Titles with Dawn and Light

Posted October 19, 2021 by meezcarrie in Christian, contemporary, historical, romance, Top Ten Tuesday / 20 Comments

No, the title of today’s post is not advertising a new podcast with two hippie moderators. It’s my Top Ten Tuesday post for this week 😉 The official topic for this week didn’t woo me so I decided instead to do a topic that’s been brewing in my head for a few weeks. While researching other themes, I happened to notice that a lot of books I’ve read (or on my TBR list) have titles with one of two words in common. So, for today’s post, I’m highlighting 10 of these such book titles with dawn and light – specifically books I’ve read and that still linger with me.

“But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn,
That shines brighter and brighter until the full day.”
Proverbs 4:18

books with dawn and light on my TBR

Note: For purposes of this post, i stuck to the use of ‘light’ exclusively, not words using ‘light’ such as ‘twilight’ or ‘alight’ or ‘sunlight’. Otherwise, we’d be here for years 😛

What about you? Which of my book titles with dawn and light have you read? Which books did I miss?

A lot of great titles there! I’ve read several of them and have a few more on my TBR list! Thanks for the intriguing post, Carrie!

Oooohhhh! You hit on some awesome ones, Carrie!! I haven’t read any of these yet, though I own several and some of them I also have on my TBR list! So true…so many books, so little time. 🙂

  4. Janice Moore

What a great topic! I am about to read Light of Dawn, by Vannetta Chapman, the third book in the Remnant Series. I liked the first two books!

  5. Lelia (Lucy) Reynolds

I’ve read six that you have and A Tapestry of Light and a Flicker of Light on your TBR.

  6. Perrianne Askew

I have only read How the Light Gets in which is really good but I was frustrated by the ending. I am ready to read Lights out by Natalie Walters because I’m anxious to see how her new series starts out. Kate Breslin’s As Dawn Breaks is also coming up for me. I see these two as a win, win reading situation!

  7. Debra J Pruss

The covers are all beautiful. I have not read any of these books. Thank you so much for sharing.

Sadly, I have only read When Breaks the Dawn by Janette Oke, but many of the others are in my TBR list! One that is missing that I could think of is A Light in Zion by Brock and Bodie Thoene 🙂 One of my favorite series by two of my favorite authors!
