Happy Halloween, reader friends! It is a deliciously fall day here in Atlanta and the colors around me are just simply stunning. This is the first year in the 21 years we’ve been married that we’ve had a yard with trees that change color in fall, and I am loving it! Anywho… I’m back with my own spin on the popular ‘spell the month in books’ challenge – instead of using the books i plan to read in a specific month, I am doing a cover love post for books that released in that month. This month is nearly over, so without further ado – so let’s look at this spell the month cover love list for October 2021!

Once Upon A Wardrobe had me the first time I saw it! And…I love Patti Callahan Henry’s books so much that I preordered a hardback copy with all of the book swag!

I also got Christmas in Mistletoe Square because I love the cover and the authors!

I also loved the cover of Maggie’s Strength by Pegg Thomas. It released October 9 and is a very good historical fiction novel.

  2. Debra J Pruss

I love all the covers. I cannot pick one I like the most. Thank you so much for sharing. God bless you.

Once upon A wardrobe and Christmas in Mistletoe Square are my favorites. They are just so pretty!

Great cover choices, Carrie! My favorite of these is Once Upon a Wardrobe by Patti Callahan. I LOVE The Chronicles of Narnia series. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is my favorite of them. I am looking forward to reading Once Upon a Wardrobe!

Out of your cover picks, my favorite is ‘Once Upon A Wardrobe’, it is both stunningly beautiful and intriguing. Though I do also really like the charming cover of ‘Christmas in Mistletoe Square’, but I think that’s partly because it reminds me of the cover of a book I really enjoyed called ‘The Last Treasure’.
